My husband and I went on a morning ride with Noah. After days of hiking, biking and rafting, it was so nice to have a relaxing morning and let those gorgeous horses do the work for us! Telluride Wranglers (and Noah) made everything so easy - great instructions getting to the meeting place, good instructions on how to handle the horses and what their personalities were like, etc. We peppered Noah with endless questions about the area, the horses and everything in between, and he tolerated us with good humor for hours (God bless him). The horses were sweet and well-behaved, and we also got to hang out with our trail guide, Diesel (a shepherd mix, I think, who was whip smart and had so much personality!).
Noah also gave us great tips on other things to do in the area, which we followed up on - doing the Via Ferrata through San Juan Outdoor Adventures (awesome), the drive through Ophir Pass (also awesome) and a quick day trip to Ouray for some hiking. These experiences made our entire Telluride trip and were the highlights of a 2+ week vacation in Colorado.
I would recommend this experience for any age group and any experience level. The trail gives you a great view of the mountains from all angles, is peppered with aspen groves, and goes around lakes and through streams. Would do this once a season if I could.
Thanks Noah and team at Telluride Wranglers!

Katie did a great job guiding our family today. We had the best time on a beautiful day with nice horses. I would absolutely recommend the Telluride Wranglers for a family horseback riding excursion 👍

My family had a fabulous experience with Telluride Wranglers. Even though the weather that day was a little less than perfect we still had a great time. They provided us with rain jackets and made sure we were enjoying ourselves and always comfortable on the horses. Prior to the trip I found them to be very responsive and easy to communicate with when arranging the trip and meeting spot.

We had a great morning ride with Noah. He was professional and friendly. My husband and I have little to no horseback riding experience and we felt comfortable the whole time. The ride was beautiful and Noah was very knowledge and fun to ride with. We would love to try a pack trip with him next time we have the pleasure of visiting Telluride!

Our party of 4 recently took the Wood Lake trail with Noah. The colors were absolutely gorgeous! My husband was thrilled to ride a horse that was responsive. The trail had a great deal of variety to it. Noah was the perfect guide! The ride was so relaxing and peaceful! We would love to do it again!

Noah and company are the best. Hands down I have never had a better experience - first rate communication, location, quality of horses, knowledge and an amazingly helpful caring staff. We were on perfect trails at elevation surrounded by aspens and mountains that opened to flowering meadows. The streams and creeks we crossed just added to the overall experience. We arrived with 14 rookie riders and all left feeling like we had an amazing experience that felt and was damn near perfect. If you want to experience the best of Telluride give Noah a call

We spent the afternoon visiting Schmid Ranch and going on an afternoon sleigh ride. I cannot say enough about how special this place is! In addition to the incredible scenery and peaceful ride we were able to meet a few baby cows (calfs) and baby goats (kids), which delighted our 2 year old. Highly recommend!

We took a 3+ hour trail ride (late June) with Christina as our guide. She met us right at the trailhead with horses well-matched to the wide variety of riding experience of three middle aged ladies.
She took us through acres and acres of Aspen forests, along and through some mountain streams and into some beautiful meadows with amazing views. It is very hard to describe the sheer beauty of the area. Ourhalf day ride started at 10. They had saddlebags for our own water, snacks, cameras, etc. we traveled just with our own party.
The horses were healthy and well trained with quiet temperaments. Christina shared information about our ride and was fun to chat with. She is a very competent horsewoman and would be well able to take even novice riders.
I would go again if and when we return to the area. Call ahead for reservations. Once booked; they give directions on where to meet them.
They also offer carriage rides and sleigh rides but we did not use that service.

A wonderful experience. Scenery was gorgeous. Noah was an awesome guide. And the horses were perfect. I rode Rooster. My wife rode Tango and we both love it. Will definitely be back for more adventures!

Christina was the best guide and made everyone in the family feel so at ease. The horses were so well behaved and did most of the work. The trail took us through woods, meadows, and over creeks.
