I booked a morning ride around the Tabanan jungle. Firstly their communications are excellent and having a choice of a KTM 250 or a KLX 150 I opted for the KLX. I was contacted by the pick up driver the night before and he arrived a perfect 10 minutes early. We picked up the bike and gear on the way to the start which was a nice restaurant. Atel the guide was already there and also had a KLX150. The helmet, safety gear and clothing provided was absolutely top quality, relatively new and fitted perfectly. The bike was in great condition and Atel was extremely helpful and friendly. The riding was brilliant and just right for my ability. As has been said elsewhere Atel is the wheelie king and spent large parts of the ride on one wheel! We road through paddy fields, jungle with twisty singletrack and steep climbs finishing with a ride along the beach in and out of the sea which was an absolute highlight for me. Thoroughly recommended in every respect and will be back for a tour of the island as soon as I can.

It was a rainy morning but I still enjoyed it. The bikes and the safety gear are well maintained. A minivan picking you up and drive up back is a lifesaver. Must-do list for sure in Bali. Thank to the crew ~~~~

Got picked up in Ubud and took about an hour to get to mountains for riding. Part of Bali i never seen before, Mt Batur and Kintamani, really beautiful up there, amazing views and great vibe, jungle forrest and volcano, lake etc. The riding was really fun on the Volcano first, fun to get warmed up and feel out the bikes. Some good climbs and little bit of dune the riding. Then went to buffet lunch over looking the lake from high above. Was cool. Then forrest/jungle single track riding to finish the day. Had an awesome time and already want to go again. Crew was really helpful and fun and the bikes and gear all in exceptional condition and quality. I Highly recommend these guys for a fun day dirt biking!!

Its going to be difficult to put into words what I experienced over the last 48 hours (writing this as they're driving me back to hotel) and if you're umming and ahhing about booking through these guys please read this small novel. Originally I started googling motorbike hire as I ride 640 KTM supermoto back in Australia and wanted something a lil bit bigger than my rented Scoopy moped. I stumbled accross Bali Dirt Bikes and was really impressed with other reviews, website and content. I showed my gf and she said "aw you should book it, looks fun!" (Now when you get a green light like that from the mrs you dont f%@# around) She gave an inch I took a mile, immediately I booked 4 locations over 2 days and as I only take cash on holidays with me to budget they even allowed me to drive to their local HQ and drop said stacks. My experience was as follows: 14th morning - Tabanan Jungle afternoon - Tabanan Beach 1st day eager af, driver picks me up from my hotel in Kuta (I know what youre thinking but Dynasty Hotel in Kuta has a great kids club for my son) We drive about 90 minutes to a small restaurant where I meet my guide Atul (legend) and get all my gear...now no expense has been spared when it comes to your safety! They were literally tearing the tags off my gear as it was brand new, all 2020 new release, my knee braces retail at $800 alone, everything was top notch. Which leads me to my one and only gripe about the whole thing is that I ordered size 13US boots and I was presented with 12s....however the manager of the whole operation personally apologised and explained that they were in the process of acquiring all new gear and they were literally purchased last night and they were scouring the island for a size 13 as we spoke and guaranteed me the correct size for the next day. Now I'm not gonna lie they hurt like big toe was in a vice grip all day but...we don't ride bikes to be all safe and comfortable so with the promise of new boots tomorrow I jus sucked it up and got on with it. Now the good bits, my bike was a brand new KTM 250cc 4 stroke....wow...just honestly such a nice bike. I explained to Atul that I've only been riding road bikes for one year and this was literally my first time on the dirt, I feel like he definitely took this into consideration but certainly didnt baby me. The jungle ride was just astounding, the views and places you get to ride through are breathtaking, so much so that it's hard to keep your eyes on the track sometimes. Some quite difficult climbs but with Atul's guidance took them all on. Next was the beach, looked nice but just like any beach...sand and water. This is where I can't thank Atul enough...he is the wheelie master! All day, even through jungle and crazy trails eeeevery opportunity he had he was on one wheel. Now being a novice rider I've been desperate to learn how to wheelie but with only YouTube and quiet industrial estates at 1am at my disposal my efforts had been fruitless. That changed yesterday! With one on one training Atul gave me the clearest and most concise instructions and alas!! I was up!! I spent about 3 hours up and down that beach practising having the time of my life. Shout out to Atul "the wheelie man" 15th morning - Kintamani Black Lava afternoon - Kintamani Jungle Day 2....I was sore...but excited. Again my driver ready for me dead on time and off we go to the Lava. This time I booked the KTM 300cc 2 Stroke with Reckluse gearbox...google it...its f#$%ing amazing. Again all top gear and as promised my size 13s. Without the distraction of my toe I was determined to push myself today. We drive up into the mountains and before we even get there I'm faced with just jawdropping scenery honestly is such a beautiful country. This time I'm not alone, as testemant to their reviews they're booked out so there were quite a few riders however each booking has their own guide, so again I have my own guide Ketut to take me through my day. We take a short ride to the Lava area and it is a dirbikers wet dream... so many humps, bumps, trials, climbs and flat areas for just brapping up a dust storm. They just let you loose and it's an absolute playground and as it's all lava sand/dust you can stack with no damage to you or your bike. Anytime you get stuck or come off they're right there checking on you and helping you up, great advice on jumps and hill climbing. There were hills there that I honestly didn't think I could get to the top off and with some tips from Ketut and a few attempts I blasted my way to the top. Was definitely my favourite area out of the 4. After a few hours and alot of stacks we go grab a bite to eat then into the jungle. I found this jungle to be quite technical (novice speaking don't forget) with lots of sharp turns and dirt climbs again Ketut really pushed me to overcome more than o thought I could, awww I'm getting goosebumps thinking about it just pumping through the jungle hitting corners and picking up decent speed with my new found riding ability. Also mixed in again was humbling views of great volcano, mountains, rolling valleys, hi fiving little kids as you pass jungle villages... Ketut was an exceptionally good rider, the main reason I did so well was simply following his lines on the tracks. Overall: Amazing...the guides, locations and gear/bikes (in that order) are what has made this the most memorable experience in my travels so far. It is worth every last cent of your hard earned money to ride with these guys! Check my Insta @tnarg.laen for pics and vids.
