The STARS program at Steamboat is beyond exceptional. I was paralyzed in an accident 9 months ago and upon arriving, I instantly knew my vacation out here was going to bring so much happiness and challenge. Tommie, Craig, Kenna, Tom, and Keith coached and supported me as I attempted to stand up ski with outriggers for the first time since my accident. Words cannot even explain my level of joy and surprise that my body could do such a thing so soon after my accident. I cannot wait to return and ski with the STARS program again.

This was an incredible program! Our son, Nathan, has autism spectrum disorder and previously had a bad experience skiing (which ended in the emergency room.) So our instructor, Keith Heintzelman, had his work cut out for him. Nathan was very pessimistic about returning to skiing, but Keith was absolutely wonderful. He was very patient with Nathan and continued to encourage him throughout the trip. Keith was quick to learn Nathan's personality and did an excellent job teaching him. By the end of the trip, Nathan was skiing without any help (and with only minimal complaining...) This is a great program and we will be using it on future trips.

Amazing, caring staff - everyone works together to make a great experience in every way! Tommy, Craig, and Ron are true professionals that love what they're doing and got me up skiing after experiencing some medical issues after age 50!

All the STARS team are wonderful, but our heartfelt thanks goes to Tommy. He showed our very timid 5 year old daughter how much fun skiing can be. Their knowledge, experience, patience and understanding, especially when dealing with small children, was exceptional. Our daughter now counts skiing as her favourite sport and can't wait to get another opportunity to try it all over again. Any parent considering a ski holiday with a child who has a disability would feel very confident in the knowledge that STARS are well equipped to ensure their skiing experience is positive, enjoyable and achievable.

All of the staff at STARS, and especially Craig are amazing. They fit you with the right instructor, equipment, slopes, etc, and set you up to have an amazing time. Skiing is the first activity I really got involved in post-injury and I haven't looked back, thanks to STARS. Thank you so much!
