The wild flowers filled the meadows, and the vistas were spectacular. We were surprised by the amount of snow blocking the trail at the higher elevations (~11k) for July... More

I enjoyed this drive very much. There was wildlife to view and places to pull over for picnics. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys nature.

This was a wonderful drive through the mountains and down to Steamboat Lake. Take the back country road around the lake for a better view of the lake and mountains views.

We snowmobiled through the forest. The paths were beautiful and the views of the mountains were spectacular. We could see the ranges from Cheyenne to Breckenridge.

Snowshoed Summit 1a and Bruce's trail. Both trails are well marked and are loops. Bruce's trail has a shorter beginner loop and a longer intermediate loop that follows the creek. The Summit 1a loop is approximately 3.5 miles. If you want a shorter hike with amazing views hike to the left and then turnaround after you reach the view of... More
