Overview
More
Old Town Hot Springs is an historic all-natural hot spring and recreational facility in the heart of downtown Steamboat Springs. It is family friendly and has been the place for recreation and rejuvenation for visitors and locals alike for over 100 years. The swimming and soaking pools served as a gathering and bathing place for the Ute Indians who first settled in the area. Then in the late 1800s, it was a social spot and a bathing place for the early homesteaders. Old Town Hot Springs sits at an elevation of 6,700 feet and offers eight pools, including two 230-foot waterslides, a 3,000 square foot hot activity pool, an aquatic rock climbing wall, the historic Heart Spring pool, eight lap lanes, and massage. We also have a full fitness center with over 45 classes each week, including aqua fitness classes, yoga, spin, Pilates, BodyPump, Zumba, and more. It is a 501(c)3 non-profit, multi-use complex open seven days a week, year-round.

Really enjoy this hot springs pool. Love Glenwood, but this pool offers more choices of warm and cool water. Intimate and fun for adults and kids. Very pretty with lots of flowers and bridges. Hot tubs are great. Especially fun in the summer evening with...More

My family just paid $1000 for a membership and expected some sort of tour or information... The girl (barely an adult) could care less about customer service or being polite. I literally had to ask her to explain to me why we should become members,...More

We wanted to try at Hot Spring while visiting Steamboat. We chose this place because of the slide and rock wall for our child - it isn’t exactly the best place for relaxing in an adult only venue. We were constantly splashed by kids jumping...More

We stopped by on a Wednesday afternoon to look around and the place was packed... so we returned early Friday morning and practically had the whole place to ourselves. It’s the best way to go. I expect it’s a similar situation later at night when...More

Two adults took advantage of the Hot Springs evening discount to spend an enjoyable two hours (745 to 945pm) on a Monday. The place was not crowded, just lots of kids and adults in the two main pools. The lap pool was closed for some...More

I guess it is just weird for us because we are not big on public pools but decided to go because of the novelty of it and the great reviews. Not worth the price for us. grounds are beautiful tho.

When we saw the springs driving through town we were a bit disappointed in the size of the facility. However we had a great time and enjoyed the pools very much. Admission is good for the full day and they're open until 10 pm. We...More

Open to the public and season pass holders, you pay at the door, go to the locker room, then outside. We thought we'd want to be there all day, but were actually ready to go within about 2.5 - 3 hours. It's $12 more to...More

We swam during their twilight hours so the slides, etc were not open. This was on purpose as the cost can get a little high if you go when they are open. We had 4 kids with us and knew if we went when slides...More
