Sarah, Dan and their kids Lark and Von are soooo friendly. Entire staff is knowledgeable and instructions are thorough. Truly down to earth people who love their dogs and provide the experience of a lifetime. Ben and Ryan are excellent guides and there are no words to describe the friendliness and lovable demeanor of ALL the dogs. It’s a physical activity but so worth the time and effort. You see God’s creation up close and untouched by man. If you have the opportunity to try this activity it’s well worth the time and money

Hands down one of the best experiences. Everything was amazing from start to finish. The owner, Sarah, went above and beyond to get us scheduled on short notice and the staff was very polite and enjoyably to be around. It was clear from the start how much the owners cared for the animals in their care and providing the best possible experience for us. HIGHLY recommend 100x over. Haven't stopped talking about it since we returned from our trip!

This was an amazing experience, the dogs are well cared for and they love what they are doing, plenty of hugs and rest with cookies and cocoa along on the trail. We all had a chance to mush (Ready...Hike!) and I really enjoyed talking to Sarah and the entire team. We learned how to ensure we keep the dogs and everyone safe. Thanks Snowbuddy we will be back again!!

Sarah, Dan, and their staff at Snow Buddies were all amazing! By the end of the day, we felt like part of their Dog Sled family! The day couldn’t have been better. They taught us what we needed to know about mushing our own sled, with enough guidance that we felt safe, AND had a ton of fun. Their attention to detail was amazing. They even had a mini birthday celebration at the warming hut for our grandson. We highly recommend Snow Buddies for a unique winter mountain experience. They love their dogs and treat them as pets, which is important to us. Thank you Snow Buddies!

We have visited twice and will return. It’s such a classic Colorado landscape, the trails lined with fragrant snow-covered pines. Just beautiful. The guides are so encouraging and helpful. We learned a lot about the sport and appreciated the priority put on safety for the dogs. Really amazing to see the dogs enjoying their work! It’s always hard to leave without adopting 3 dogs, they are such sweet pups.

The Snow Buddy Dog Sled Tour was absolutely amazing. We were so impressed that we actually learned to drive a dog sled instead of only riding. The owners were wonderful people who genuinely cared for their dogs. It was fascinating learning about the rescue program for retired race dogs and about the life of these dogs. Many of the working sled dogs are retired Iditarod racers and they clearly love to run even with the tourists in tow! We were so glad we chose to do this activity on our day off during a week of downhill skiing. We will definitely go again.

If you are looking for a true dog sledding experience this is it! We basically muster the team ourselves. The team leaders would direct us and encourage us but these dogs did the work! They are beautiful dogs and well taken care. We absolutely love the trip and love the photo package they offered. It sure was a memorable event. They took care of us by providing snacks and hot chocolate at midway point and also provided my family with snowsuits and snow boots. I highly recommended this group for your dog sledding adventures.

This outfit is top-notch! One of the best experiences of my adult life. Our family and friends absolutely loved this day. Can't say enough good things about the owner and her crew. If you have ever wanted to try dog snow sledding this company will treat you right!

There are no adequate words to describe this phenomenal experience. Every second of this adventure was well thought out and done with exceptional care. Everyone needs to experience this excursion while visiting Steamboat. As much as I love skiing, this adventure far out shined our time on the slopes. The dogs are such incredible athletes, and I walked away from this experience which such respect and admiration for them. Lastly, the team at Snow Buddy’s are beyond amazing. Not only can you tell their love for the dogs, but they treat all their guests like we are apart of the family. 5 stars is not enough!! 100 stars!!!
