Everyone NEEDS to experience dog sledding with Snow Buddy Dog Sled Tours. My friend and I had the best experience. The owners were so so kind and very knowledgeable. They actually let us get on the back of the sled and guide the dogs, which we weren't expecting but was so fun. This was the highlight of our trip to... More

We booked Snow Buddies between ski days to give our kids a much needed recovery day from the slopes. Our group consisted of 5 adults and 4 children ranging in age from 5-9. We were blown away by the overall experinece and the staff were professional, personable and accomodating. We had the opportunity to pilot our own sleds, harness the... More

We had an excellent time. The instruction and directions were clear and concise without being rushed or overdone. We felt very safe and well prepared for mushing and driving.

We have come to steamboat for 15 years and went dog sledding for the first time. It was the best activity we have ever done here. Snow Buddy is the best, we will definitely return.

Sara and Dan Paint provide a very personal experience allowing YOU to drive the sled with perfect amount of instruction and great personalities. It is out on the edge of the National Park so you do not see other people or snowmobiles. They also "rescue" dogs that are experienced on major dogsled races... More

Where do I start? Great for the outdoorsy...dog lovers...snow lovers....adventure seekers...those seeking a safe activity...even kids. Not a "tour" but an "event!" Sara, Dan, and Martha are great "people" people whose passion and joy in sledding--and love of dogs--is contagious. As 'hands on' as you want--it's your choice--from harnessing the dogs, to hooking them to the tow line, you get... More
