Make sure you look your best because your dress is scrutinized by the shirt police. Pro shop wanted me to go get collared shirt. I had a pullover weather shirt with haymaker logo on it. He didn't have much to say after that. Way to...More

Fun links course to play and highly recommend. Electric carts. Very good practice facilities. Nice pro shop and staff. Stay in the fairways as the rough has VERY tall grass. Greens and bunkers well maintained.

The event starts with a shuttle pick up at the steamboat grand hotel. The bus driver raved about the large portions at dinner and the over the top chocolate cake. Too bad he set the expectations so high. The food was good but the portions...More

Great course to play for all abilities. Have taken part in a number of clinics which were all excellent. Course is in great shape and the setting is perfect for 360 views of the Yampa Valley. Always eat in the clubhouse and food never disappoints....More

The course was very nice and nicely kept, with nice starters, ranger on the course, and cart service. BUT, if you are from out of town visiting and have to rent clubs--think again. Clubs were so dirty--cakes of dried mud, with grips that were not...More

Yes a bit pricey for a city golf course and if I had a complaint, really wanted to table one, that is all I got. Otherwise, this was a first rate golf experience on a fabulous golf course. Starts out a bit benign and underwhelming...More

We are glad you enjoyed it! When you return in September be sure to ask the front desk of your hotel for a lodging rate postcard for discounted greens fees. Thank you for playing Haymaker!

We spent a couple hours cross-country skiing here on a Monday. Since it's on a golf course, it's mostly flat with undulations. It was an enjoyable day, but I wish there were more trails. We did them all (green/beginner and blue/intermediate), and I was surprised...More

Golf course has a 127 slope and it plays to that. Lots of places to lose balls. The back plays tougher after the first 3 holes, so don't get to excited. Overall a fun golf course with plenty of challenges.More

Thank you for your feedback. Playing any course for the first time seems to be a little more taxing on loosing balls. With 5 sets of tees to choose from it offers the right challenge for each players handicap, but certainly course knowledge will safe...More
