My husband rode on the Yampa River Core Trail twice, and enjoyed the ride (so much so that he returned). It was well maintained and beautiful. There was a detour because part of the trail was flooded, but the detour was well marked.

We rented from Ski Haus. Easy access to the trail and not far from the Botanical Gardens. Be sure to use the coupon found in the Steamboat Guide. Available for free in many stores, hotels and fast food places.
