The gondola ride to Steamboat Resort was a great experience, views were beautiful and the sunset was amazing from the top! Would definitely do this again!

Make sure you find a coupon because it is a little expensive, but worth the experience. We took our family of 4 up the mountain to have lunch at Oasis and eat on the Sundeck. I have to admit I wasn't expecting too much from a counter service lunch but all 4 of us were very pleasantly surprised. The boys... More

A nice ride. A bit pricey at $23 per person though. A great view of Steamboat. One way ride up or down is 15 minutes.

Found our way to the ticket office for a ride up the mountain. Spectacular views everywhere on the Vista View trail we took (easy, about a mile). Enjoyed a drink at the Oasis outside grill after. Best way to get an overall feel for the area.

We went up in the gondola on a sunny day to see the beautiful view. Since I live in Florida i'm not use to these big hills so I was a little nervous on the ride up. We got some amazing photos and enjoyed the fresh air. At the top we enjoyed a couple drinks and enjoyed the sunset party.... More

The gondola ride, although expensive, was totally worth it. The views are beautiful and the variety of hikes offered range from family friendly to difficult. Mountain biking trails are also offered. We'll definitely be coming back!

Lots of gondolas around but we seldom take them because we don't believe the value is there. This is an exception and we are glad we spent the $23 each. It is still summer time and their operations schedule is mixed so check before you go. You can see the ski runs from town...or so we thought. The lower mountain... More

I am not a skier/snowboarder so I can't recall that I've ever been on a gondola. I really enjoyed taking this on a warm summer afternoon. The ride up was about 20 minutes. We walked around the top of the mountain for a while, stopped into the restaurant (which was too busy to get a table), sorted through the gift... More

I loved the Steamboat Gondola. I was there w/my family and everyone skow board and skiis execpt me. Because of the Gondola (I bought a gondola pass) I was able to see the breathtaking views that all the skiiers see, absolutely beautiful! We were there for Christmas and it doesn't seem like the lines were bad at all. So peaceful... More
