Great view of the city and surrounding area.

We took the Gondola up (find coupons in magazines around town) and enjoyed the view....there is a restaurant on top but it is a little pricey.

We, a family of four with an 8 yr old and 9 yr old girls, listened to the concierge and got the impression that climbing up Mt. Werner would be an easy task and would while away some time while on vacation. We started at 10 am, and we did not reach the top until 3 pm. The views were... More

We had a blast on the mountain skiing. I even twisted my ankle and the ski patrol folks were amazing and quick responding. I'd suggest carrying a cell phone on you at all times in case of an accident. Relying on one person in your group doesn't work well because you most likely will get separated. The views are amazing.... More

Steamboat Gondola we took an exhilarating ride up the face of Mt. Werner in Steamboat's eight-passenger gondola. Revel in infinite views of the Yampa Valley and also saw people on mountain bikes and were hiking the numerous nature trails . kids enjoyed the Gondola ride so much that they wanted to go again and again .

Wonderful small mountain with nice views of town and the main ski mountain. MUCH cheaper than the big mountain and fun if you want to take part of the day off but still get in a few runs.

Great snow! Start with a quick gondola ride up, and work your way up to storm peak. Then you have three mountains to choose from. Every level of skiing including back bowls, tree runs smooth blues, and challenging blacks.

We enjoyed our family outing up the mountain in the late summer. It was easy to get on the gondola and tour the area. Great flowers blooming.

Flat landers just can't imagine the beauty of a huge mountain range. The pictures of this will stay with you for years.

There is a reason the have a trademark on the nickname given their powder - "Champagne Powder"... this place is beautiful;. not crowded, family friendly, with staff everywhere on the mountain unobtrusively ready to help with guidance, suggestions, location, or medical on a moments notice... can't beat it.
