What a treasure!!! We absolutely loved our delightful afternoon with Caroline! We thoroughly enjoyed each delicious stop on the tour and loved hearing so many wonderful stories about the area! Caroline is a local and her love for the town made us want to look at real estate! We just booked a winter trip so that we can experience the wonderland she described! I highly recommend taking this tour near the start of your visit so that you can plan your other meals based on her recommendations! Each course was so different and yummy. We even went back and bought olive oils & balsamic to ship home. Definitely a highlight of the week! I feel like a made a new friend!

We loved all of the 5 restaurants, especially starting at the Greek restaurant. The patio and margaritas were fantastic at the next stop, Loved the burger and beer and the french toast! We were stuffed. The olive oil and vinegar shop was amazing and we are all enjoying our purchases! Thank you to Caroline for showing us around Steamboat and sharing her knowledge and expertise about the town. What a memorable and fun way to spend an afternoon.

Excellent, fun, entertaining, educational, there are not enough adjectives to discribe this tour. Our guide Caroline, was spot on taking the four of us on a three hour food tour of five of Springboat Springs most innovative restaurants, while constantly sprinkling fun facts about the areas history. Very enjoyable and highly recomended.

Our food tour was AMAZING and so much fun. Our tour guide, Caroline, not only took us to great food stops but also an olive oil and balsamic vinegar tasting stop. We walked through downtown Steamboat Springs and over the Yampa River. One of the best parts was the history that Caroline imparted about Steamboat! If you are in the area this is a MUST activity for you, your family, friends, etc.! LOVED IT!!

The food was excellent, but the information regarding the local orea was even better. I would strongly recommend going on this tour if you are visiting the Steamboat Springs area. Caroline was very personable and informative. Go on this at the start of your week so you know what restaurants you want to go to during your stay.

One of the more generous food tours we have gone on. You’re stuffed by the end. All the stops are delicious and offer something unique. Caroline is brimming over with history of the area and very personable. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Caroline Fisher, the founder of Steamboat Springs Food Tours, led my food adventure. We began exactly on-time, and visited five locally owned establishments:
- Salt & Lime
- Skull Creek Greek
- Elevated Olive
- Back Door Grill
- Creekside Cafe

Caroline has developed very close working relationships with the owners/managers/servers at all five of them. She has worked with them to create the perfect blend of food and drink experiences.

In addition to describing the incredible food/drink on the tour, Caroline provided interesting historical information on Steamboat Springs. Between establishments, we walked to the footbridge over the Yampa River near 9th St. She is very knowledgeable, friendly, and enjoys leading food tours.

All of the establishments are in downtown Steamboat Springs. I found that parking in the free [8 hour] parking lot at Oak St and 8th St (adjacent to the Back Door Grill) was best. It was a two block walk to the first stop, and it was a three block walk from the last stop.

Attached are five photos that I took of the amazing food, drink, and local area. Hope you enjoy them.

This delicious/informative/relaxing food tour was one of my most enjoyable activities during my one-week stay in Steamboat Springs.
