My family and I love escape rooms. Taphophobia was possibly the best we've done. Well-thought out and kept us on our toes. Especially challenging given the non-linear nature of the clues. Even though we didn't quite escape in 60min, we had an excellent time! The owner welcomed us at the door and led us through our experience. He and his wife both run the place and design the games. We had a great and personal/family-friendly experience.

Wonderfully run business by a local family. We had birthday parties here for two of our children, one of them 20 and one of them 9 years old. Paul made each experience fun and challenging for both groups! Everyone had fun working together and figuring out the solutions. Thank you!

We had a good time escaping from POE. Everyone was involved and racing to beat the clock. Definitely a must do activity in the area.

My husband and I played the outside scavenger hunt (Key to the City: S.K.I.) game with our 6 and 4-year-olds in tow. We had a blast! Our 6-year-old really got into it and could help us solve the simpler puzzles. We had a great time walking around downtown and learned interesting facts about Steamboat. We would definitely highly recommend this for anyone looking for a fun way to spend a couple of hours. It probably would be more enjoyable for a team of only grown-ups and without the little kids so that you could stop for a drink part way through, but even with the kids we enjoyed the heck out of it.

That's certainly great to hear! Kids with an interest or some stamina tend to enjoy the longer, outdoor game. I'm so glad you had fun. Thank you for the review. -Paul

The S.K.I adventure was a fun way to solve some challenging puzzles, spend some time outside, and get to know downtown Steamboat Springs. I enjoyed doing this escape with my two teenage sons. We all had a good time!
