We are old people (70s) and we did the Alpine Loop and it was FANTASTIC! The Aspens had turned golden and their leaves were spinning like new copper pennies in the breeze! We were IN the Aspens and it was glorious! We were enclosed within the Aspens and friends that I have shown the video all said it was so amazing that it didn't look real! The staff at Rock Pirates were friendly, accomodating, professional and acted like they were happy to be there and happy we were there with them! Nice people! Hints: 1. Take a towel for each of you. We went early in the morning (which you have to do if you want to do the whole loop!) and it was cool so dew had settled on seats. If you don't want a damp bottom - take a towel or a blanket. 2. There is a bathroom at their shop. 3. If you want to take drinks or snacks, it's fine. Get them before you take the car out. Once you get the car - you don't want to stop although there is a little grocery 2 blocks down from the rental site. 4. Everyone had their shots who was working there and that was important to us as vulunerable seniors. (There is another rental place down the street and on same side as Pirates but the lady there was incredibly unfriendly, and very "snotty". 5. If you take a carbonated drink with you and you place it by your side in the front seat -- be careful! The bouncing shakes it up and IT SPEWS EVERYWHERE! I am the voice of experience! 6. Watch for wild sheep (some of whom want to get in the car and go with you), wild deer, ducks, hawks, etc. We were literally alone with the animals, Aspens, etc. 7. They provide a very nice lunch if you do the long trip. 8. I cannot say enough good things about these folks. This activity was pure joy!

These people are the best. My wife and I had an 8 hour rental. It was ready when we arrived and we were given full instructions on the rental unit and a paper map of the trails we wanted to ride. After we got back we realized we had left our action camera And another bag in the unit. We called back after realizing and Ruby answered the phone and told us they had our stuff and we could just come get it the next morning on our way back through their town. This was a wonderful experience with wonderful people. I highly recommend you give them a call if interested in a UTV.

This was our second time renting from the Rock Pirates. Equipment was even better this time. Staff excellent and gave good directions to Golds Lake. Beautiful views, will definitely be back for another visit.
