Andrew has a staff that is willing to help a girl with some new gear. I've been flyfishing for over 25 years & my experiences with a lot of men would fill a comic book! The shop has a lot of great gear & good pricing. So, now I'm the happy owner of Women's Redington Willow River Waders & Boots.

My girlfriend and I went on the half day float trip and wished we had booked for a full day. Hagen was the best guide and so patient with us. After the scenic drive to the river, we got right in and started learning. Catching fish and seeing all the sights down the Colorado river is a memory for the... More

My husband is a very experienced salt water fisherman and guide. He so enjoyed the full day with his guide Ryan. First fish on at 11:30 am nice brown trout. He ended up getting 4 to the net for the day. They had everything there that he needed and the guide took him to a couple of great places. So... More

This was our first time fly fishing and our guide Hagen was extremely informative and also very patient. We learned the basics of casting before we got in the boat. Once we were on our way Hagen was able to teach us where the fish were. He was also very patient in dealing with an endless amount of tangles. If... More

My husband and I were guided by Andrew Petersen he sets the bar for fly fishing. He erudite in the rivers, the fish and the cast. Drew always finds the fish! He is also a conservationist of Colorado's rivers and fish, protecting the environment for the future wonderful fishing trips. Unexpectedly, he also provides gormet lunches and pays attention to... We have a family's business in Dillon and interact with our customers about things they are doing here in summit county and when we hear a repeated response about a business we like to pass it on to other customers always ask locals I can say with no hesitations that we would recommend this business if you are interested in... Three friends and myself did a full day float on the Colorado for the start of my bachelor party. I couldn't have asked for a better way to start off a weekend. A great day of fishing with first class guides who have lived in the area for a long time so they know their way around the rivers. Having... More

I've fished with a lot of guides the past 5 years and "shopped" a lot of fly stores. Every person affiliated with this shop is 1st class -- in knowledge, service, expertise and personality. Andrew (owner) is committed to providing a memorable experience day in and day out. Colin, Nick, Papa K, Phil, Hagan....etc......they are all fantastic. This is the... More

Great guides and great trip! Guides were good at instruction and patient since we'd never fly fished before. Took us about an hour north to a place on the Colorado river. Was a great experience.
