My family and I had an amazing day on a guided wading trip with Matt “Campy”Campanella and Jack Specht. They took us to great places and found lots of fish. Most importantly, we were expertly guided at all levels. Our group ranged in technique and both Matt and Jack handled that effortlessly. They also made the day fun. Great guys. Great guides. Thank you for a fantastic day on the river!

Was a great day with an incredible guide. Matt made learning fly fishing a truly enjoyable experience. I have taken many trips whether golfing or hunting and campy was the best guide I have ever had!!!

We had a great experience with Cutthroat Anglers. Booking was easy, and everyone at the shop was helpful. I’d especially call out our guide, Jack Specht. He went above and beyond to not only make the experience enjoyable but to also teach a couple beginners (including my 9 and 13 yr old) the basics on fly fishing. Nice, knowledgeable, and extremely patient. I'll be recommending Cutthroat and Jack to friends and we plan to use them whenever possible.

I spent a half day on the Eagle with Matt Campanella, and the only thing I regret is that it wasn’t a full day. I learned a lot in a short amount of time and caught some great rainbows.

This was great a year ago but upon repeat it was a disappointing experience. Guides took us to the Blue River in the middle of Breck, which any tourist could walk to in 5 minutes. Not their fault the fish weren’t biting but also it’s not a great place for beginners with all the pedestrians and bushes/snags around. Beginners in the group felt like guides used a whole lot of jargon without explaining, and got mad when people didn’t understand what they were saying. Given the cost, probably not doing this again.
