Great park, something for everyone
Jun 2020 • Family
Visited this park while on a weekend getaway. It was great for our young elementary and preschool age kids! Lots to entertain them and get the wiggles out before the long drive home. Also had tennis courts, a soccer field, and skate park that would be great for older kids or adults. Bathrooms were open and well maintained, but be aware that the water fountain is currently off due to COVID19 restrictions.

Awesome park!

Really cool park! A larger playground for older kids, a smaller playground for younger kids, tennis courts, sand volleyball courts, and a skate park! Plus bathrooms and drinking fountains next to covered pavilions with picnic tables! And awesome views too!

Great place for kids of all ages. There are two playgrounds, one for toddlers and another for a larger variety of ages. Also has a walking path around a large grass field, perfect for fertch or frisbee. Basketball, tennis and beach volleyball are also available. Restrooms on site.

We took our 2 1/2 yr old and 11 month old to try sledding and the park. Both were a hit! And the views are also spectacular.

We'll go back a few more times this week.

Fun place

This is a great place to stop and wear out the littles. There is equipment for both the toddlers and the bigger kids. It is a nice, picturesque area, with lots of services nearby, including a Target, gas stations, fast food, restaurants, and forest service office, to name a few.

Kid's paradise

Rainbow Park can provide a great break for weary parents. The playground equipment, divided into 2 areas, can accommodate preschoolers as well as Elementary.
There's a fine beach volleyball court for adults and the best skateboard park in the county. There's also a quarter mile jogging track ringing the entire complex.
To top it all off, it's a terrific, safe sledding location in the winter that draws a lot of kids, young and old. Don't miss it!

Sledding fun!
Dec 2018
We attempted to sled behind our cabin but the fresh unpacked snow proved difficult to walk through making sledding difficult for some. We decided to try the park the following day as we had heard it was a popular sledding hill and figured the snow would be packed down better sledding. It did not disappoint. There were several sides/grades of slopes that were fun for Littles and the adults in our group. Everyone agreed this was their favorite place to sled and it’s free.

Great Kid Park
Sep 2018 • Family
We met our 6 year old granddaughter in Silverthorne for the afternoon and found this park on-line and decided to give it a try. Best idea of the day. She loved it. So much for her to do and seeing that she brought her skateboard with her she had a double great time because of the skate park too. We were kind of worried because there were older kids (and even teenagers and adults) at the skate park but they were all very respectful and let her join them as a beginner. Very impressed! There is a great number of and wide variety of playground equipment activities (slides, climbers, swings, etc.) for all kids ages and our granddaughter kept quite busy going from place to place doing each activity. It was a great afternoon! Great Park!

Our daughter (9yo) loved this park, we went twice during our stay. It has things for lots of different ages and sizes to have fun. There is also a nice little Ranger Station around the corner (across the street from the Target) that has lots of touchy things for little ones too.
