A stone's throw from Blue River and the Silverthorne Outlets, Rainbow Park was an awesome stop for the family. It featured covered picnic tables to eat our lunch, multiple age level play structures and so much more. There was pickleball courts, a free skate park, a looping path for runners and the Silverthorne rec center was just across the grass.... More

We stopped here to have lunch and let the kids play on our way up to Steamboat Springs. What a Park!! The kids had a wonderful time and there was so many things to do. The slides were very unusual. It was a well done and safe park. As Grandparents we enjoyed watching all the kids have such a good... More

This park playground is fantastic. Clean and well Maintained. There are 2 playgrounds, one for smaller kiddos and a skateboard park which was used a lot and very nice. Great free afternoon with the kids. Close to trails for a walk.!

Multiple small pavilions with picnic tables, basketball courts, skatepark, playground, etc. Grills and real restrooms.... what else could you really need.

We stopped here to give our grandchildren (5-year-old twins) a chance to stretch their legs on a drive from Denver to Glenwood Springs and the park was just as good as we remembered. Lots of climbing, swinging, running, exploring, observing choices and, at least when we've been there, lots of other kids to play with. Kids can take a break... More

This is a great place to take your new skiers or boarders. It's free, so you do have to walk back up the hill but, it's such a great place for kids to learn. It also has an area for working on your tricks. Bathrooms are a port-a-potty.

We asked the hotel for a dog park and this was where they sent us. Not a dog park but it did work. Looked like the locals used the tennis courts as dog runs in the winter. Very nice park, enjoyed the tennis court and playground.

With two families, this was the best and most inexpensive activity in the area. We all enjoyed the tubing, then used the ski slope for some first time ski and snowboard lessons for our kids. The snack stand food is basic and the bratwurst was disappointing but there are lots of other places to eat in the area.
