3 friends and I came to Salida for the first time. This was an awesome tour. We learned so much about the town! Our tour guide, Steve, was very funny and did such a great job entertaining us. We would highly recommend!

I love the stories and first hand accounts of hauntings around town. You get a history lesson along with ghost stories. We had a great time. It’s family friendly, though your young child may learn some new words.

This was so much fun! Steve really knows his stuff, and is a great guide. It was very interesting learning more about the town all while being entertained. Highly recommend!

This was our second visit to Salida and we thought this tour would be a fun way to learn a bit of history about the place. Steve was very engaging and told stories about the growth of the town and the colorful characters that shaped its history.

I took 2 tours. In the morning, a history tour, and in the evening, a ghost/mystery tour. The only negative I have is the owner, Steve (and my guide both times) chastised me for asking a question at the beginning of the tour, saying if he took the time to answer me, it would tack 2 minutes for every question and he assured me all my questions would be answered. Which they were not. It would have been more polite to say "I'll get to that later". Anyway, that answer makes no sense, because if you're gonna get to it anyway, then where do you get the additional 2 mins/question? Answer now, cut out the speech when you get to it, or again just say you'll get to it later.
Salida has an interesting history and plenty of it, and Steve seemed to cover a lot of it naturally. Both of the tours were relaxed, and yet much was covered. Both were good in their own ways. The information was not repeated.
As for the ghost tour, it was creepy but not scary and definitely not cheesy. Highly recommend both!

I have lived here for nearly 20 years, but there is so much that I just don't notice: details of buildings, details of the ghost signs, and more. Steve, our tour guide, was able to connect it all into a meaningful history, telling lots of interesting and entertaining stories along the way. I learned a lot, and highly recommend this tour to visitors and town citizens alike!

The tour with Steve was terrific! He is so knowledgeable and personable, and did a wonderful job of acquainting us with the town. We would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Salida.

Steven was SO great! This was our first time in Salida and it was an awesome way to get to know the town & history. We’d recommend this to anyone & everyone and would totally take the tour again ourselves. We also bought one of Steven’s books because he was *that* good!

This was a fun tour of the town of Salina. Steve knows all the good murder and ghost stories of the town dating back to the 1800s. My daughter and I loved this tour!!
