Had a nice time checking out the falls, trails are good to the falls, trail up to top steep and rocky, but not to bad for this old man (lol). Only thing bad is very limited parking, we were turned away for first visit, no parking spots, so we left and came back in a few hours and made it... More

There are 3 ways to get to the falls. You can either directly walk up to them after parking in a lot, taking you to the bottom of the falls. Or you can go up on the left side, which takes you past caverns and up to stairs. We went up this way, and came down the other side, which... More

If you are looking for a family friendly mini trek with beautiful views than this is a must while visiting Rifle, Co. Behind the falls are small caves that you can explore so bring a flashlight.

This was recommended to us by a friend and it was worth it. Get there early to find a parking spot and it does cost $7 per car for a day permit. Take time to explore the caves (not that big) and walk up behind the falls. Great views and location.

Rifle Falls is a short drive from Rifle. The fee for day use is $7.00 and even though we were only there a short time, it was certainly worth it. It's a very short, easy walk from the parking area to three beautiful waterfalls which were really flowing. We really enjoyed this stop and I highly recommend it.

Just north of Rifle you'll be enchanted by three falls at Rifle Falls State Park. A short walk to the falls and well developed paths up and around the falls give you spectacular views. Enjoy the mists from the falls on a hot summer day. There are several small caves to explore above the falls too

Rifle Falls is a unique phenomenon. It's a must see if you are in the area. We have been there two times before, but this was by far the best because the water was running high over the falls. It's great any time you go.
