Loved the natural setting

Very relaxing and peaceful feeling. Nice to have the option of an hour long soak for a lower price. Really can choose between with and without clothes.

They have plenty of different pools of different temperature, the grounds are nice and you can really relax.

What a WONDERFUL experience. The gardens are beautiful and the pools were well described, we had never been to hot springs before and didn't really know what to expect. We will be back.

Orvis Hot Springs does not look very appealing from the outside. From the road it is a square stockade fence in the middle of a flat field. You will wonder is this the place? Within the fence are the hot springs. There are 7 pools of varying sizes, most are 'ponds' with dirt bottoms and rock steps leading into them.... More

Wow! My family wanted to do this, and we had a great time! The pools were different sizes and had different temperatures, which was nice. This place is clothing optional, but few people were naked. Nobody was bothered by the clothing optional. The relaxation that came from this experience was present the next day too! Love this place!

Located at the bend in the road from Telluride to Ouray, well worth a stop. We stayed in Ouray during winter and got admission to big public hot spring and great a deal on lift passes in Telluride. We hit this in summer after doing the Million Dollar Highway. In retrospect, it needs to be done in winter to fully... More

The rooms are very nice, and I find the camping great with all night access to the springs a major plus. I was there late June in the heat of the summer and it was cool in the shade of the trees. Very relaxing, Tamara playing gin with Tanja, people sun-bathing and of course the springs!!

Love the Orvis Hot Springs. It's a gorgeous place. Very well laid out. Always clean, great staff. Oh and best coffee within 50 miles! There are parts that are clothing optional. So be sure and keep that in mind.

My wife and I spent the night in one of her favorite towns, Ridgway Colorado. We had talked about going to the hot springs pool in Ouray, but my wife jokingly mentioned the clothing optional choice of Orvis Hot Springs just south of Ridgway. Since she was always insecure about her body, I said I would bet her $20 that... More

We really enjoyed soaking in the waters here. It was really nice in the evening to look up and see the stars as you soak, and watch the sunset. It was generally fairly quiet and people were very nice. There are numerous pools of varying temperatures to choose from, and they even have some private areas. From what I understand... More
