Wow! My family wanted to do this, and we had a great time! The pools were different sizes and had different temperatures, which was nice. This place is clothing optional, but few people were naked. Nobody was bothered by the clothing optional. The relaxation that came from this experience was present the next day too! Love this place!

Located at the bend in the road from Telluride to Ouray, well worth a stop. We stayed in Ouray during winter and got admission to big public hot spring and great a deal on lift passes in Telluride. We hit this in summer after doing the Million Dollar Highway. In retrospect, it needs to be done in winter to fully... More

The rooms are very nice, and I find the camping great with all night access to the springs a major plus. I was there late June in the heat of the summer and it was cool in the shade of the trees. Very relaxing, Tamara playing gin with Tanja, people sun-bathing and of course the springs!!

Love the Orvis Hot Springs. It's a gorgeous place. Very well laid out. Always clean, great staff. Oh and best coffee within 50 miles! There are parts that are clothing optional. So be sure and keep that in mind.

My wife and I spent the night in one of her favorite towns, Ridgway Colorado. We had talked about going to the hot springs pool in Ouray, but my wife jokingly mentioned the clothing optional choice of Orvis Hot Springs just south of Ridgway. Since she was always insecure about her body, I said I would bet her $20 that... More

We really enjoyed soaking in the waters here. It was really nice in the evening to look up and see the stars as you soak, and watch the sunset. It was generally fairly quiet and people were very nice. There are numerous pools of varying temperatures to choose from, and they even have some private areas. From what I understand... More

The relaxing atmosphere of Orvis Hot Springs is just what the doctor ordered for some spiritual rehab. A beautifully landscaped oasis with manicured gardens surrounding several bubbling hot springs. We spent a night in the Log Cabin room, staying up late to lounge in the steaming hot springs under the full moon. Amazing. During a visit later in the week,... More

I've been to several hot springs around Colorado and this is by far my favorite one. It's extremely affordable and includes so much. They have two private soaking tubs, separate changing rooms/ showers, free tea and coffee, and a communal kitchen. It is clothing optional in the outside spring pools, but also a nice indoor spring pool where clothing is... More

We frequently go to Orvis and I love the various natural hot springs pools. Rather than being swimming pools that have hot water, these are natural stone pools of varying sizes and depths. Be prepared for clothing optional ... not a big deal, but can be a surprise if you don't know this in advance.

We were passing through the area and our son told us we should stop. We really enjoy the hot springs of Colorado but I usually avoid clothing optional places. I'm glad we stopped to enjoy the waters. The pools and gardens have a very natural, relaxed feel and vibe to them. We were there mid-week in the afternoon so there... More
