Facilities include showers in Camp rental. Wonderful views of the lake. High desert grasslands with little to no shade. Children play areas throughout.

Camped over a weekend with no reservations. Called several days prior to visit & told many openings. Very poor road signage and difficult to find a camp site. Tiny reservation markings so have to drive around park ( over 400 spots). Spent about 2 hours trying to find a site. Self registration is a pain - can only sign up... More

Went to Lake pueblo to fish and relax. With the Rockies in the background this makes a perfect place to relax even though the fishing was not too good.

This place is so cool! There are campsites everywhere, lakes, just so much to do, and it goes on forever!

Lake Pueblo has great views and is open all year. You do have to pay a fee to park for the day. There is a swim beach which okay, not really the best place. There are a lot of areas that you can park and explore. There is also a biking trail. The best time is if you have a... More

We reserved a pavilion for a Family Reunion and had the use of it all day. We could not have been more pleased. The restrooms were very close and we had outside running water. There were two grills which we used and lots of area to sit and visit. There was even a fireplace that could be used in the... More

We stayed in the Northern Plains campground. High desert landscape. Not much shade. Each site has its own lean-to. Sites are well spaced. Lake access is fairly difficult. No swimming.

The park is such a beautiful place to visit. So green and Lush during the summertime. I'd advise you to take the time and visit when you go through Colorado.

We went to the South Shore Marina and rented a pontoon with friends to enjoy the morning. What a glorious time we had! The lake is beautiful and clean, the marina staff was friendly and helpful, and the lake was not too crowded. We were able to anchor in some coves to swim. Just had a wonderful time and can't... Pretty lake while being in a stark landscape. The high desert is for some. I like it. Just walked around the shore and caught two bass a Large Mouth and a Small Mouth. Fished about an hour and then just wandered around. Had a nice day.
