Very small due to renovation in one wing. but very good museum. Interactive maps, lots on display. They expect to have the new exhibition up next year (inside and outside)

It is a small museum easily covered in 30 minutes on way to viewing the ruins of the ancient archeological site on top of the mountain.

Only a small part of the museum was open, but you pay the full price. Nothing was reported about renovations or the like.
Two videos of half an hour each without text or explanation that we saw. The only thing that was interesting was the interactive map showing all the ancient cities, excavations and towers with explanations also about migration flows.
The finds are very similar to other museums and less spectacular (prefer to go to Archaeological Museum in Thessaloniki)

Unfortunately this modern museum is almost empty. Just some photos of medieval ports on display and five or six vases in a small exhibition.
No entry fee, so you get what you pay for.
It seems as if there was no money left for the exhibition after the construction works were finished.
