If you are looking for an amazing tropical getaway, Hermit should be one. Its too far from the polluted air of the city.

No doubt that Hermits Cove is a beautiful place. I'd give it 8/10. I was there March 31 with a few friends.
Keep this in mind if you want to go there. You will have to go through about 3 kilometers of rough, rocky, slippery road. We were on a motorcycle and we had a hard time getting there, it was a nightmare.
You've been warned.

There will also be a good supply of our favorite adult beverages as well as Karaoke!

Ripp off!!
Entry is 100php for a sandpatch of beach. And after that it cost everytime to go to CR 5php!! Parking is also extra 30 to 50php! They did not made there mind up!!
For Half of the beach is full of boats and there are about 5 rotten dirty, ugly and uncomfortable payags to sit.
It's dirty and full of little plastic in the sand at the way going to the CR
Not worth the visit!!

Hermit's Cove was one of the best place i got to visit here in Cebu, Aloguinsan. The beach was is not overcrowded, fine sand and crystal clear water. People are very accommodating as well. People will even offer you if you need their help.

Such a beautiful beach hidden away with no large crowds of people. It was not an easy place to reach as our GPS took us on a treacherous route. Long, winding, narrow and rocky path that was high up. We weren't sure where it was taking us as it was very isolated but once we reached the entry point to the beach we couldn't believe how beautiful it was. As we descended down the stairs we saw the clear blue water and couldn't wait to jump in. The locals there were very friendly and advised us of another route to take home instead which was alot safer. There was only a few people as well at the beach which was a good thing! This would have to be the highlight of our vacation! I'm hoping to return to this hidden paradise next time we visit Cebu.

Very private. Efficient services though managed by the local govt, Local men are there to assist your needs.. There is also a sari-sari story to provide basic services, even if you do not bring food and drinks. There is a local culture dance.
Shoreline is sandy but stony in the water. However, the stones do not hurt because they are not rough, and they are big. One drawback is you cannot go there if you have no car. There is a part of uncemented road.

this is one of the most beautiful places in Cebu Island but hard to reach if you don't have a car . The beach is very clean and the nature around is very beautiful , you can buy fresh fish from local people there and there are facilities for grilling .

There will be overnight lodging -Cab~Cali Ocean View Resort
Opening soon (under Construction) a short short walk from Hermits Cove!

There used to be overnight stay but incidents happened like things from guests got stolen. To avoid the blaming and getting a bad image the local government of Aloguinsan stopped the overnight stays at Hermit's Cove. I hope this helps.
