I wish I could give negative stars. I finally had enough today with this location. I, like most other reviewers, have had continuous problems being able to make appointments, have anyone pick up the phone during business hours to schedule an appointment, or have the manager contact me in the past with an issue two years ago. I finally book an appointment online for today because I have excruciating back pain after not being able to get in for weeks. The massage therapist, Brandi B, running behind, no apology, says to me, "What do you want out of this today?" Not once did she smile, seem genuine, or interested in being there at all. I go over my problem areas, she seemed disinterested has me lay down face up, comes back in the room, and gave me about a 1 minute massage before she drifted off to sleep. I open my eyes to see she is literally in a dead sleep, eyes closed, head tilted to the side--had no idea I was looking up at her. I understand we all have bad days, but this has happened to me SO frequently whenever I come to massage envy that today I finally had enough, got off the table and started dressing. She said she was sorry when I sat up, but then got offended and upset when I stood up to dress while she remained in her chair for a few moments, probably trying to reorient herself to what was happening. I told her she could leave while I finished getting dressed and to just go. I've paid thousands to massage envy over the years and their service has gone down so badly in the last 3-4 years its absolutely appalling. My appointment was at 11, I was called back at 11:09, and was dressed and out the door by 11:24. I told them to not charge my account for todays visit and to have the manager contact me, based on past experience, I doubt any of that will actually happen. Now I'm leaving a review to warn others or how horrible their service is.

In December 2022 I asked how to cancel my membership. I was told to fill out a cancellation form and send it to the Area Manager, which I did. The email was not responded to but also wasn't kicked back as undeliverable, so it was received.
Reconciling my credit card statements for the year for tax purposes, I noticed that Massage Envy has continued to bill me each month since at $75.00 a month (my contract also says $69.00/month). I emailed the Area Manager again, no response. I told her they needed to reimburse me the $750 they'd taken out of my account in the past 10 months. No response. I emailed again today.
I cancelled my membership because I could NEVER get an appointment on their online appointment booking system just like everyone else who has complained here. I'd look 2 months out and there were literally no appointments available, so I was paying for a service I couldn't receive. The last time I was there, there was a customer there and the person behind the counter was trying to convince her to sign up for a membership. It took a lot of restraint on my part because I wanted to tell her she was wasting her money because she would never be able to get a massage.
The way they do business is a sham and it's wrong for them to continue signing people up for memberships they can't honor.

If I could leave Zero stars for Massage Envy and Chaira Fortney, I would but, that's not an option.
I've gone to Massage Envy's in Houston and Austin. The locations here in Parker and those run by Chaira Fortney are a mess!
Be sure to read their review history. There is a pattern here. DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT. DON't EXPECT SERVICE. They reply to these postings with the same weak response. IMO, nobody at Massage Envy cares.
There is something seriously wrong when a business that promotes itself as "stress reliving" actually causes you more stress. Massage Envy, Parker, CO, and the locations managed by Chaira Fortney are disastrous stress factories and their policies are predatory!
Be sure to read the contract before signing. We couldn't use our PAID appointments for what boils down to one reason. If you are not signed up and they are currently billing you, you cannot use what you've already paid for.
Can't use their services even if you paid!
1. After being charged for two months of services, that there were no available appointments for, I didn't want to renew my membership.
2. My credit card was hacked and I didn't want to give my new credit card number until we used the services we already paid for.
3. Due to very limited openings, we won't renew. Why pay for things you can't use? Since I won't renew, I cannot use what was already paid for. Predatory!
4. The "Clinic Manager" Charia Fortney tells me that "since we won't renew we are not in good standing and therefore we must forfeit all the services we paid for".
She said I signed a contract that spells out this policy. Does that make this policy OK? What a scam! Keep paying for something you can't use or forfeit everything you've prepaid. Scam alert!
Chaira Fortney, you are inept at customer service. Over a period of a month I left four messages asking for a return call from you. I left messages at two separate locations. The Clinic Manager, Chaira Fortney, says she never received them. Ha! I don't believe her. Really? Two locations and your assistant manager Tori all failed to give you messages asking you to please return my calls? Are you really throwing your staff under the bus? WOW!
Could it be that Charia just doesn't care? The management side of this business is dysfunctional. Chaira you have caused more stress than your team could ever relieve. The solution was so simple, allow us to use what we paid for. Awful business management and practices.

If a negative 5 star review was possible I would give it to this location for the following reason. We have submitted multiple cancellations for our monthly membership for over 6 months now only to be charged month over month. I HIGLY RECOMMEND NOT JOINING A MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM at this location. One would think this is a simple request but nope, they clearly do not care nor do they have the integrity to follow through on their cancellation policy. I am sure they have great therapists but this review is about their inability to manage their business and account billing system. All I can think is that they desperately need the money to keep the doors open.

My wife and I have been members at Massage Envy for over a decade. This operation was, at one time, professional, helpful and provided a good service. This is no longer the case.
Since reopening after COVID it has been a huge challenge to schedule a massage due to lack of therapists. Also, when we were able to schedule a massage on the mobile app the scheduled therapist on several occasions did not keep the appointment. To add insult to injury, there were times where multiple cancelations happened and my wife and I were not provided notice of the cancellation prior to the appointment time. Only after we showed up at the location were we told the massage was cancelled. This was a huge error by the scheduling staff and a colossal waste of our time.
After several of these scheduling mishaps we decided to cancel our memberships. We called the Parker, Colorado location to cancel our member ships but Massage Envy continued to auto debit our account. After leaving several messages on the company voicemail, because the staff was not answering the phone during normal business hours, we were forced to physically visit the location to request Massage Envy to stop debiting via autopay. We had accumulated over $2,000 in unused massages. After speaking with Shara, the manager, we were told they would not refund any charges that were auto debited after we cancelled the membership. Shara claimed she did not cancel the memberships at the time of our request because she was sick with COVID for 2 weeks. Shara said she would send a written cancellation form via email but she didn't do that either. Shara was RUDE on the telephone and was absolutely unwilling to help a client who was a Massage Envy member for over a decade. A client who had accrued $2,000 in unused massages that were not refundable according to company policy. A client Massage Envy continued to auto debit after the cancellation was made. In the end, our only option was to call our bank and put a stop payment on any future charges from Massage Envy.
This company is unethical and predatory. The management is in dire need of fundamental training in customer service.
Massage Envy has already been involved in one class action lawsuit due to their poor business practices, but they continue operating with the same practices to this day.
I highly recommend to anyone who is contemplating a membership with this company to look elsewhere. We will never use this company again and will recommend our friends and family do the same.

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! Made an appt a week ago and 5 1/2 hours before the appt they left a voice mail telling me the appt was moved to Aurora! Couldn't make the appt as it was another 15 minutes away making my drive 40 minutes one way. Couldn't you just have told me you were renovating and the location was closing when I made the appt????? Now they are charging me for the appt anyway since it was within 4 hours of it. It's ok for them to give me 5 1/2 hours notice but not ok for me??? Really, really wrong!!!

You can't beat the member price, but you'll pay extra for every little thing. Aromatherapy is an extra $10. By the time you add on all the things that are included in other spas, you save nothing. I go bare bones and it allows me to enjoy a nice massage on regular, affordable basis.

For $49/massage you can't beat this place-as long as you find a good therapist. That may take some time weeding through the good from the bad unless you have a recommendation. I always ask specific questions to the receptionist when I book about the therapist to help get a decent one. Are they booked often, what type of massage etc. do people return to see him/her etc.
