One of our hobbies is to visit wineries no matter where we travel and visiting the Grand Junction area was no exception. Mesa Park Vineyards has to be one of the best tasting experiences we have had in our visits to wineries. Amy and Dawne were so well- informed about the wines, the grapes, and the choices the winemaker makes to produce the wines; it truly was an amazing tasting experience. Their love of the wines and the pride they take in being part of the Mesa Park Vineyards showed through with each pour. While the tasting experience was terrific, the wines exceed that experience. When we visit wineries for the first time, we look for the WOW! wine. Every wine we tasted had the WOW factor. Mesa Park Vineyards is the Winery of the Year - a well deserved award and I would expect more awards in the future. Congratulations!

The wine here was very good; the experience was even better. We so enjoyed our visit here. Definitely stop here for a tasting. Then pick up a bottle or two of your favorite.

The Barn Owl Red and the Cabernet Franc are soooooo good. The place is really pretty and the servers were personable and knowledgeable. Certainly a great place to stop and enjoy some good wines.

Definitely worth the time to stop and taste. The gentleman that was working the day we stopped provided an excellent overview of the type of grapes in the Palisade area and the effects of a few different micro-climates.

My boyfriend and I were driving through the area on the way to Grand Junction and stopped here for a wine tasting. We had an excellent experience with our host, Michael. He was very informative on the wines and the area around Palisade and we had a great time sitting outside and enjoying the beautiful scenery. The $10 wine tasting was very worth it as we got to keep the glass and an additional $5 was waived as we purchased 6 bottles of wine from them to take home for family and friends. Would highly recommend this place and to of course meet the vineyard french bulldog, Daryl!

If you are doing wine tasting, make sure to stop by this winery. Their wines are very good and the staff is friendly. It was hot the day we stopped in so we decided to have our tasting inside. It’s a small tasting area, but it was air conditioned. If you sit outside, the have a covered area and you’ll have a great view of the Grand Mesa.

There is a $10 tasting fee.

Very small pours at our recent $10 tasting! Not even two complete sips of the five wines we tried. Rather disappointing. We DID get to keep the glass though. Bring your own water as nothing will be offered and a bottle of water is $1. Because of Covid there was not much room for our group of four so we had to split up. Staff is friendly though new and not too knowledgeable. Carlson and Two Rivers were better experiences for us...maybe a bad day for Mesa Park which came highly recommended by our neighbors? Could be...

Laura and Brandon have done such wondeful things with the winery since they bought it! They are such a lovely, hardworking young couple. It is great to see them being successful. Be sure to go there if you are in the Palisade area. We look forward to May when we go for the Wine Club Pickup Party.
