We had a group of Mt. Bike riders that took the Rapid Creek shuttle up to the top of the Palisade Plunge, a new epic adventure ride that was conceived and built by Rondo and others. We rented e-bikes from Rapid Creek Cycles to do our own self-tour and follow the Palisade Wine Byway. The shop gives you a map and gives you tips and advice on which way to go based on what you want to do and your skill level. A friend and I used Rapid Creek for the shuttle service on the Palisade Plunge ride and it was a great experience. Everyone at the shop was friendly and very accommodating. I would highly recommend the shop for the ride and any other needs while in Palisade or the Grand Valley.

Did the PALISADE PLUNGE through Rapid Creek Cycles. We rented our bikes through them, and they also provided the shuttle up to the trailhead. The bike shop owners explained the difficulty of the Plunge to us, so we would not be caught off guard. They were right - the Plunge was certainly challenging. But also, that is what you get in this part of Colorado, and I didn't expect the backcountry bike trail to be paved. My friends and I did the shorter (21 mile) route. It was rugged and beautiful. I highly recommend if you are a good mountain biker. Thank you Rapid Creek Cycles.…
