Because they open at 9, this was our first stop of the day. We were the only ones in the tasting room so we had a super wonderful, personal tasting! The workers were great to talk to and we enjoyed a good amount of the...More

The tasting room itself is inviting, and the bottles are all decked out with ribbons the vineyard has won. We weren't crazy about the wines, but that is subjective. We noticed that there is an inn next door so we asked about it. The server...More

Once again, our visit to Grande River was a sheer joy, right off the highway, with gorgeous Colorado wines. We had the pleasure of being served by Pam, who was friendly and very welcoming. Cute tasting room overlooking the Bookcliffs and their vineyards. Bought six...More

Stopped by here since it was next door to where we were staying. Did the tasting and found that their reds were definitely better than the whites they offered.

I've noticed Grande River Vineyards for years, driving past on I-70 and I finally made a stop. Their tasting room is nicely decorated, and cozy. Their wine is great and the staff is very informative.

We enjoyed our visit at Grande River, although the area inside was smaller than some of the other wineries, the staff were very friendly and the wine was excellent. It's also conveniently located next to the highway and downtown. They also told us they have...More

"Pay to taste" is pretty straight forward, with the menu being laid out in the recommended tasting order. Most of the reds were very good, including a port style, which was completely unexpected. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Recommended.
