While we take the art of winemaking seriously, we like to have fun too. A favorite since 1988, we're known for pioneering Colorado wines made from local grapes and fruit, with names like Laughing Cat, Cougar Run, and a Dinosaur series. Carlson...more

Had a fantastic visit at the New Carlson tasting room in Grand Junction. Was immediately warmly greeted by Carrie and the staff and enjoyed a delicious tasting of outstanding Colorado wines. The location is in a gorgeous old building on the Main Street downtown. Clean...More
Unfortunately, it was windy when we visited. But, they have a fantastic outdoor space. One thing that stands out from all the other places we visited is that they didn't charge for tastings, they just limited and asked you not try them all. We got...More

We really enjoyed our time here. The staff was very friendly, even though we were probably their only visitors that day. The wine is excellent and they have super friendly cats. Definitely recommend if your in town.

We have been going to Carlson's for over 15 years when my Dad first took us there. Now we live in the Grand Junction area, and take all of our friends there. If you only have time to visit one Winery, this would be the...More
