About
Maison la Belle Vie is a 4.5-acre vineyard that has some of the highest quality wines in Colorado. Planted in 2002, Maison la Belle Vie introduced their first vintages in 2006 including a Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Rosé, and Muscat – a dessert wine that is traditional in regions of France. Small batches of Reserve wines such as Merlot, Syrah, Pinot Noir and Petit Verdot as well as the famous Vin de Peche are available. The Vin de Peche is a wine made from a Muscat grape and peaches, a delightful recipe that has been handed down through the generations since the late 1800s. Our Vin de Noir is a handcrafted walnut wine fortified and aged for six years. A new addition to Maison la Belle Vie is a variety of white wines, including our Villard Blanc. If you’re looking for an amazing food and wine experience, ask about our bistro with delicious food served on our beautiful patio. Featuring seasonal lunches, brunches & specialty dinners, including our famous Charcuterie board.

Lovely winery with a tasting garden among the vines. One of the best charcuterie and cheese boards we have ever had for a very reasonable price. Wine flights of five tasters start @ $15. Very peaceful, very relaxed. Thoroughly enjoyed our stop.

Beautiful property for winery tour & private dinner as arranged by Trafalgar Tours for our Colorado trip. The surrounding mountains, the vineyard, the pergola over the restaurant area, and the staff all create a welcoming atmosphere. Our food was wonderful and the wine tasting fun. Even those non wine drinkers (impossible!) enjoyed it.

We met this place at the Palisade Sunday farmer's market in downtown Palisade. Hard to choose from among many tempting choices. Finally had an excellent almond croissant. Note that at the farmer's market there is a $10 minimum order to use a credit card.

This was a cute winery but don't come here if you don't want to get yelled at by the owner.

Nicholas G : please do better if you want to NOT embarrass your customers. I didn't mean to touch your grapes, if you don't want people doing that then please have signs up instead of yelling at your customers and embarrassing them in front of other customers. You are very lucky that your staff, (Aaron) overall made your customers experience a little bit better but as a owner, we expected you to have more courtesy towards people who come support your business. I am highly disappointed.

Just in my humble opinion....I will not support a business that treats their customers like trash.

We joined the wine club after a lunch special...very bad mistake.

The bottles were a strange mix averaging $40 with fees and shipping,

Shipping in CO summer is stupidity. Today ours arrived warm.

We cancelled immediately....avoid this winery at all costs.

The waitress (owner) came across in a very rude manner. I understand u have to wait and we were willing as we were celebrating our birthdays. My friends waited a long time to get their glass of wine, which did not come right away with our appetizer. then I made it clear we wanted to order lunch. An hour later, we still had not gotten our lunch order in. We got frustrated and left. Do not go there for lunch!

My wife and I stopped by for wine tasting, but currently, they are not doing tastings due to Covid-19. If you want to taste a wine, you must have something to eat. We decided to sit down in their outside eating area (tasting room is closed) and got a sandwich and salad to split. We got charged an extra $5 because we split our sandwich. Of course that turned us off, since we were really there to taste wine and not eat.

Their outside area is very nice if you want to sit outside for lunch. Most of the area is in the shade so you should be able to escape the sun. The sandwich and salad was good. Their Rose we got ordered was nothing special.

I’d give them another try if they open up for wine tasting.

My wife and I had visited here a few years prior and liked it so we were looking forward to a repeat experience only to find a quaint wedding venue disguised as a winery. My $12 flight contained four reds that were pretty indistinguishable from each other. To rub salt in the wound, I was blind sided with $2 per water serving.

Went out with family on a Saturday night on the last day of our visit. Lovely outdoor setting and wonderful service.
Had the Merlot Flight to try some of their wines and the appetizer plate we all shared. Be sure to try the appetizer cheese with wine. Outstanding!
Friday and Saturday nights are burger nights. I had the regular burger with blue cheese and pasta salad. Spouse had the portabello burger and we exchanged halves. Both were very good.
We will definitely make a regular stop here when visit again in a couple of months as I really want to sample more of their wines!

It’s been several years since I have reviewed Maison. It’s really has become the go to destination in Palisade for lunch and wine. Such a beautiful facility and grounds. Only outside dining right now in the covid environment but still a great experience. The charcuterie plate here really is famous. It’s fantastic and even better with a glass of the merlot blend. There are also fresh homemade desserts and pastries. All are excellent. Maison has really continued to up their game and it’s a must visit while in Palisade for the best wine on the Western Slope.
