As we pulled up the garage door opened to reveal the proprietor waiting for us. We were the only people there and he rushed us through a wine tasting with an awkward and intimidating presence. I tried to lighten the mood by asking some questions...which he answered in a sarcastic and patronizing manner. I was in a party of three... More

We chose this winery based on the reviews. Quite honestly, we were not impressed. On the positive side, the host was very friendly and the wine tasting was free. From there, I felt like we drove up to someone's garage. We tried about eight or so wines, both white and red. My husband and I thought the wines lacked complexity... More

The drive out to Hermosa alone is worth the trip but from the time you arrive to when you leave your treated to authentic hospitality and great wines. Ken's place is relaxing and cozy, just the right setting for a small winery. The wines at Hermosa are a step above other wineries in the area, whites/reds/dessert alike. We've been going... More

Tatum was great we had so much fun tasting wine and talking with her. Ken makes sure his wines are the best, can't wait for next visit

We arrived just after Ken finished his morning coffee where he shared company with a couple of junior foxes playing nearby. To our dismay our arrival chased off a doe and her fawn. Yes, the place has a peaceful ambiance. Ken opened the "garage door" to reveal a cozy tasting bar and we chatted about his history as he set... More

I don't even know where to start, this place was SUCH a disappointment for palisade. Pros: Most Wine is just okay. Dessert wine & chocolate is good! Cons: **You know the saying 'the longer you stay the more likely you are to buy?' That is the owner's motto. We felt like we could not get out of there fast enough... More

The selection of wine was extensive for a Palisade winery and you taste each which is nice. I fell in love with the desert wine which tastes like a cherry pie. I felt the wines were more expensive than some of the other wineries in the area of equal quality so didn't end up buying much here.

This place was great! Very laid back and delicious wine. Very relaxing and a must on your Palisade wine tour.

This was our favorite stop on our wine tour! My husband and I went to all the big wineries in town, and this one was our favorite stop! It is a one-man shop and it is very personable. Ken was very knowledgeable and gracious and his wines were fantastic! The Rose is where it's at.

This winery is a short drive/bike ride outside of Palisade. They give you a lot of information about what you are trying. We thought it was quite informative. They provide you with many samples. You will likely find something that you really like. Their prices were a bit higher than some of the other locations in town.
