I wish I hadn't wasted my time stopping here while driving from Denver to Grand Junction on my trip to Colorado. It just wasn't worth it for me. I went for the hard cider, as I love tasting various hard ciders when I travel. When I arrived, it was quiet and no one was at the bar. I waited a bit for someone to help me, and once they did, they had to wash glasses for me to have my cider tasting. The bartender was friendly but it took much longer than expected to just get my simple tasting. The cider wasn't very good and I left when the bartender began discussing politics with some other customers.

This is a nice little store selling fresh local fruits and veggies. But - I go for the cider. They press it right here and it tastes so fresh! The cider is only made in the summer, but they also bottle their own apple juice, which is also good. They often have a percolator with hot spiced cider for you to try. Smells great and tastes great!

They now make hard cider as well - several varieties and they are all good, to my taste.

Talbotts have been around since the early 1900's and have been great agricultural neighbors to the valley. PS - buy one of their old wooden peach boxes (or other fruit boxes) - great little organizer for your home!

If you are there when they are doing tours - do it! Very educational and very fun!

It is a total FATAL place to go. The David Boyd owner is always trying to look for the way to get your money. The products and service are of very poor quality , and it was my awfull experience in my life. NEVER COME NOR BUY NOTHING TO THIS MAN, WILL RUIN YOUR LIFE

After going to Colterris, Resurrection, Carlson & Book Cliff Wineries, where we were required to pay a fee to taste a miniscule amount of wine, we landed at Talbott's, and discovered that they had some fantastic wines!

Our favorite, which we purchased a case of, "About Last Night" Syrah, was a robust and full tasting red, that we are delighted to be returning home with 12 bottles of.

Really happy that some Palisade wineries are NOT charging a tasting fee, and just contacted Talbott's to see if they can ship me 10 more cases of this fantastic wine!

There nothing in the world better than a Palisade peach from Talbott's. We buy lots of great peaches from them. Always amazing and wonderful people. Don't forget to check out their hard cider and wonderful wine. I recommend the Cab Franc.

We stopped in while visiting the area to sample wines from some of the local wineries. This has been our favorite stop so far.

From the friendly pup to the family member behind the counter we felt welcomes. We didn't end up getting any wine but we got a box of cider. This is some of the best cider we have ever had. Kind of regretting g not getting the peach too. We will need to make another trip out to the area and will be stopping back when we do.

BUYER BEWARE! We have bought peaches from Talbott's for many, many years. We usually ask for the seconds, as I am putting these up by freezing or drying them, and don't mind a few spots. We have never been disappointed.

On August 26, we bought 100 lbs. for ourselves, family and friends. We first tried a peach out of the box they have for show and it was delicious, sweet, juicy and with great texture. Usually, the second boxes contain a mix of different varieties of peaches, all with slight blemishes. I truly do not mind cutting around them when I process.

Four boxes came out of cold storage, none of them the least bit ripe. We let them sit around a few days, then started sampling them. They all had the same numerical code, 4044, on the stickers. They were nothing short of awful. Mealy, tasteless, not the least bit juicy. We had been suckered. BUYER BEWARE !! I called them to give them a chance to respond and do the honorable thing BEFORE I POSTED THIS REVIEW. I had to leave a message. No response. BUYER BEWARE!! $100 for what we ended up composting. SHAME ON YOU!

We made a trip to Talbott's after visiting their booth at the Palisade Peach Festival. We came for the fresh peaches and left with peaches, cider, jam and syrup. We had a great time tasting, visiting, and browsing. The store was easy to reach from I-70. The variety of produce and merchandise was impressive, and the people were friendly.

We loved Talbott's crisp, refreshing craft ciders and wonderful hospitality. The tap room staff was so friendly and helpful and made us feel right at home. We plan to visit again and enjoy their juicy Palisade peaches as soon as they're ripe...and take home a box or two. We highly recommend visiting this unique discovery!

Went there to check out the local wine collection. Hopping to score some peach wine for the wife. No joy, however, they had an awesome rose. As well as an outstanding cider that had been aged in whiskey barrels as well as a jalapeño infused cider. It’s a must when your in the area.
