The river walk is easy and beautiful!

We love to walk the river, seethe rafter and fly fishers as well as the bridge near the hot springs.

My husband and I did this walk on a beautiful day in Pagosa Springs. It’s located across from the hot springs and many people were enjoying the natural pools. You have to pay to use the area. We didn’t do this so I don’t know...More

The concrete sidewalk goes along a scenic path which shows the Hot Springs, river, and downtown Pagosa Springs. There are three bridges. Also, a very nice coffee shop right across the river from the hot springs. It is a lovely setting not to be missed.

Pleasant walk along the river. There are picnic tables and hot springs. One area of the walk is currently closed due to construction, but still a pleasant walk.

Had a picnic in the park downtown and then walked along the river for awhile. It was very quiet and relaxing.

If you get to the river walk at anytime of day you can expect to see plenty of wildlife on your journey. Ducks in the San Juan River and deer wandering about. They have a nice paved trail to walk and ride your bike too.

This is a very nice walk along the San Juan River through downtown if the construction weren't there. As it was we could only go away from downtown or up stream. There is a very nice park with playground equipment and picnic options available including...More

You can wade in the river , small open "beaches" for play. Tubing is fun for Kids and areas of warm water where the hot springs drain.
