Beautiful views awesome fun road! Great weather and people up here. Someone unfortunately rolled down the side of the hill, they were not in the vehicle when we got there so I'm not sure if they were injured or not but the jeep was a...More

This was our first time riding in the Jeep on Imogene. Last year early snow made us turn back! Some amazing views and the trees had great color the 3rd week in September.

What an amazing trail. From Telluride to Ouray was a great ride with amazing views. As a newbie driver, I was really worried about the drive but found it no problem. My wife, also a newbie driver, drove half of the way smiling ear to...More

Start from Ouray Colorado and stay at the Comfort Inn Bill & Emily will take good care of you. This is a neat ride but be sure to check a good map or have a GPS that works off the satellites, because some of the...More

We came to Telluride/Ouray just to wheel our Jeep, Imogene is a must do! The trail was not particularly difficult, but it does get narrow in places. There's a narrow shelf road on the Telluride side just before society tunnel. We really enjoyed this one....More

Have been on this trail a couple of times and it had been beautiful each time. Not too rough but still recommend 4 wheel drive for the steep sections.

I've done Imogene a half dozen times over the past couple of years. My best advice is to find a time of the year when few people will be on the trail. Its an incredible vista with breathtaking views of the San Juans. Well worth...More

I would recommend going East from Telluride on this trail. It is easier to navigate, as the other way gets VERY steep in places near the pass. We rented a jeep from Riverside Inn in Ouray with 35 inch tires, lockers, and swaybar disconnect. It...More

Amazing, must go 4x4 trail ride! Loved the views, the time on the trails, and the outstanding excitement from this trail. I am afraid of heights, but it was not scary, and we loved every minute of this trail!

We loved this drive. My husband drove our 4Runner and the road was tons of fun and the views were amazing! We drove from Telluride and turned around and went back down at the pass instead of continuing to Ouray. With stops for bathroom, pictures...More

I would think by mid-November there would be snow up there, so I probably wouldn't try it.

Go on line and google jeep rental in Ouray and Telluride - and call them. I doubt they'll rent to people under 25 but some may.
