Beautiful hike!

This trail is pretty steep, so would not recommend for everyone, but the waterfall is beautiful! It is not a very long hike, so we had no problem. Just need to be careful.

Be sure to park in the designated parking lot on 8th. Someone told us to park at the visitor's center and the hike was much more difficult and longer.

Wow! The waterfall is gorgeous! Amazing place! The hike to the falls is not long, but does have rocks. Overall, this is an amazing hike and waterfall!

The hike was easy and the falls were pretty. You can even go behind the waterfall! We we tried to go higher up on the trail it didn't seem like it was in the best shape. It was sometimes difficult to follow and even pretty narrow.

This waterfall is free and beautiful. Just go to the end of 8th avenue. It is an uphill hike but well worth it. Very beautiful scenery.

Very easy hike to see a nice waterfall. There are some rocky areas, but easy to get around. The parking area is close, and you can see the waterfall even if you don't hike all the way up.

Beautiful waterfall not a long hike right in town. A must see if your in Ouray this would not be recommended for a handicapped person but you can drive pretty close and the fall can be seen from all over town and it's free . Good place for a picnic I think . I didn't make the hike to the... More

There was plenty of parking. A small hike up takes you yo the base of the falls. You will also have the option to hike the Perimeter Trail.

The falls are located very close to town and are accessible with a relatively short hike. The trail is well marked, and the falls are worth the effort. Beautiful setting! We walked up from Main Street with relatively little effort.

After we hiked Box Canon Falls, we drove up the road to a park on the same level as Cascade falls. You can see the falls through the trees, but we chose the trail marked 'Lower' and took the hike down to get closer. It is quite a drop, and can be seen from most places in town. We didn't... More
