Very pretty falls with short hike

Great photo opp, right in town, in a pretty wooded setting. Well worth the short hike uphill to the falls. We enjoyed climbing on the rocks. Can't beat the price - Free!

The walk up to the falls on 8th Street seemed steep, but once we reached the parking area it was an easy climb. The waterfall is especially lovely. It was worth the climb.

I went to this waterfall by myself to get away and it was awesome. you can either see it from a distance for get a little closer to it to feel the mist coming down. HIGHLY recommended and free! It is literally a 5 minute walk from the parking lot. For anyone who cant make it up the hill there... More

Why not see this waterfall if u are in Ouray! Just a few blocks off Main St. The hike is short and relatively easy and the waterfall is very scenic. I've walked a lot farther to see less. :)

Loved that we got up close to this gorgeous waterfall. It was a perfect hike for our 9 and 10 year old. You "could" go up and down in 45 mins. We drove to the parking and started our hike and continued on the Perimeter Trail. For longer hikes bring water and a snack. Definitely worth it.

Can walk to from most places in Ouray, or park in lot at trail head. Hike is about 1/4 mile one way. Nice, but not spectacular. Will pass by it on the perimeter trail.

We hiked up to the falls and the views of the city of Ouray are great. It was the Fourth of July and the firemen were having water hose fights in the streets and it was so crowded that we could not see so we went for a hike at Cascade Falls and we could actually see the action from... More

One of the prettier falls in Ouray. You can see it from most loacations around town. The hike from the parking lots is not to long but it is steep. Make sure to wear good shoes for hiking because you will be hiking over some rocks.

Lovely hike up to the falls. I'd imagine if we'd come at spring or early summer the fall would've been very impressive. Small parking area, no entrance fee. Nice hike for kids and teens :)

Short 1/4 mile hike up to the falls, but no admission cost and worth stopping to see. The water may be a bit low in volume in August. Just on the edge of town and nice parking area plus a shelter with bench about half way up the trail.
