We had an awesome time! Fence Post, the owner, is a HOOT! He's quite entertaining to talk to as we were getting saddled up for our ride. Each of the 6 of us in our group was appropriately paired with a horse and then sent on our way for a breathtaking and exciting trail ride up the mountain with a... More

I was very happy with the price for ride. We went for the 2 hr ride but when all was said and done it took about 3 hours total. There were several short breaks for the horses as we began at 8,200' and rode up to 9,400'. The guide took our photos as the peak of the ride and we... More

My family and I booked a 2 hour trail ride with Mr. Fence Post. He was a colorful Cowboy who got us organized and ready to ride. Our trail leader - I believe her name was Byrnne was fabulous with the kids and adults as well. Even with the light rain that fell on us, we had a great time... More

The main guy here was pretty good and pretty funny and informative. The tourguides were flat out rude to my kids. When things got a little out of hand with a horse, she would yell at the kids as opposed to helping with the situation. It was just a bad day it seems. The horses were a bit rowdy and... More

The owner was fun. Great views. Horses were more like trail horses so ride was more challenging. They also accommodated our schedule so we could go on two hour ride. Highly recommend!

My wife enjoys riding and every time we travel she looks for a riding stable. She was especially pleased with the trail ride at Bach'lers. She had an early morning ride with wrangler/guide "Hairpin" (Brynne Skalla). She was an excellent horsewoman with a knowledge of the area. The scenery is great and the ride climbs to about 10,00 feet. My... More

Three adults and two kids (ages 9 & 11) went on the 2 hour trail ride and we had a fantastic time! The trail climbs over 1000 feet and you emerge onto a plateau with a great view. On the way back we saw deer and crossed a fast running stream. When on vacation we always tried to ride and... More

Highly recommended. We are beginners on horseback and had an incredible time. Our guide Fence Post was fun and teasing with our daughters (age 9 and 11) and us. We rode Craig and Curly Bob and the girls rode Rascal and Shorty. We knew to ask before offering treats to the horses (they said please don't), and knew to help... More

Made a last minute reservation for a one hour ride with my husband and boys aged 8,10 and 16. We did meet Mr Post, he told us which horses to get on and then our guide was Michelle. Beautiful mountain views, the horses were well behaved and easy to ride. This was only our second horseback ride so we do... More

Fence Poste was entertaining but can get a little sketchy and he actually never went with us to guide our two hour trail ride..not a lot of information was given to us before starting out on our ride and none of us were experienced riders. Instead we were rather gruffly instructed by Shotgun when we did something wrong.... We never... More
