We always start here and end up at the hot springs. This was my husbands first time to Box Canyon and it was fun to see it through his fresh eyes, I always love this short hike

Beautiful park with impressive views of the Falls. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Recommend visiting when in Ouray, CO. Hint...start your day with the Falls as its right outside of town and then spend rest of the day exploring the high country.

It's worth it to walk up here from town. Expect some huffing and puffing, due to the up hill walk and lack of oxygen. Nice little trail. The water fall is quite impressive. Would like to see it when it has even more water.

Definitely worth a visit. Check-in at visitor center with mini-museum exhibits about the area flora and fauna. $4. entry fee for adults. Great for kids in all regards - not toddlers or infants except in a backpack carrier. Sturdy walkways and stairways with handrails. Rocks to climb at the bottom with caution. If you are bothered by heights, pass on... More

First time in Ouray,CO. A group of friends and I walked up to the observation bridge. It was well worth the 1/2 miles up and the 1/2 miles down.

We enjoyed our hike up to the bridge at the Falls. Lots of steps to climb but the views are fantastic.

A true Gem in little Switerland, fun couple of hours to see the natural falls coming out of the mountain. Lots of stairs but worth the trip up and down!!

The canyon only costs $4 to enter and takes about 20 minutes to see. You can extend your stay by hiking to the top of the falls, but I had seen enough by walking the gantry to the base of the falls. It is very load in there, wet too, but it does give a sense of the power of... More
