I would highly recommend the Ouray Overlook Ride to riders of all skill levels. I was a little nervous about this ride on the mountainside because I'd only ridden horses a handful of times prior to this ride. Kristy and Mallory made sure all the riders were comfortable and matched us with horses based on our experience. My horse didn't like other horses being too close to him, and Kristy and Mallory were very helpful in coaching me on how to handle him to ensure we both had an enjoyable ride. They also did a great job of pointing out landmarks along the trail and taking pictures of us on the horses. I would love to do another ride with Action Adventures.

This trail ride was fancy and a highlight of our 3 week RV trip. The guides were very knowledgeable of the area and the history of the mines and fauna. Thy were very patient with all the riders, some experience and some not. The guides helped us to understand their expectations of us and talked us through it throughout the ride. The ride is stunning, views for ever and great opportunities for photos. The horses are very well trained and they are matched to the riders experience. These folks are experienced and professional. We highly recommend using their services on the Ouray Overlook Ride. They deserve 5 stars all day.

Phenomenal ride, with unbelievable views of Ouray, Colorado and the surrounding mountains. Tiffany was our guide and Christy helped with our horses, very friendly and knowledgeable. Almost 10,000' elevation! This is a must, it was the highlight of our trip out West even after visiting Utah and the Grand Canyon.
