Our group of 4 adults came here wile staying in town to experience the vapor cave. Our visit was in october of 2022. we went to the hot springs pool in glenwood springs and enjoyed our time there. here we wanted a different experience and got a recommendation from the hotel staff.
The price to get in was around $25 per person for that you got access to the pool, the cave and locker room . i thought that was a little high but not outrageous The pool that was a hot spring no larger than a common hotel pool. was ok just a plane rectangle pool . The vapor cave that was underground had two separate doors you had to go through to get into the spot where it was like a sauna. the water in a cave was only a couple of feet deep was very hot. so much so that when we were able to sit in it. if you can stand it. dont move or it will feel hot again.
I guess some people like that but i could not take it for anymore than maybe 11 minutes after i was feeling drained. I did not like the whole thing so i wont be back.

Paid the $75 for the outdoor, private hot springs spa for 1 hour. Included the rest of the resort for as long as you wanted to use it.. Hostess was very accommodating. Did not take advantage of the hot springs cave since my feet a re very sensitive and I didn't bring my water shoes.

My husband and I had a wonderful 36th wedding anniversary here! We loved the old rustic cabin facing the mountain. It was so peaceful and quiet. The hot springs pool was glorious and we used it everyday after hiking and horseback riding. Manager was very attentive. Cabin was clean and bed was so comfortable that we both slept better than we had slept in months!

Lovely experience amonts cold winter winds and snow. Water was really warm. The place itself is tidy, however the changing rooms are very muddy due to everyone’s boots. Showers are hot, towels can be bought if forgotten.

Don't go her if you want to get lectured on smoking. Thought spas were suppose to be relaxing. The lady at the desk..Owner...denied us because we had smoked a cigarette in the past 3 months..hmmm..said someone had anaphylaxis because they smoked. So we went to Orvis Hot Springs where they had a smoking section. No one had any issues..just saying.

If there could be ZERO stars that would be my review. We went there for the vapor caves and the hot springs. The caves are down a flight of grubby stair where you enter a grubby hallway and they have open community spaces for you to put your belongings. (no locks) then you are instructed to take a shower and wash your hair so you don't "contaminate" the water. HA
the caves are dark and dingy. I could not get out of there fast enough. Then we sprang for a "private" hot springs area. It was about the size of a large hot tub and surrounded by a run down fence. It cost $ 75 for one hour, and again, I couldn't get out fast enough. The place is dirty, and neglected. I am amazed that they have any ratings or continuing customers. There are other options for hot springs and we wish we would have opted for one of those.

this place is ridiculous... the rooms, lack of amenities and the ridiculous rules are enough to understand why it has a German name... it should be named "the Nazi Hotel" or HItler Haven.
You people are ridiculous....

I have been going to this hot springs and spa every year for ten years. Recently I called to make an appointment for a massage, the lady on the phone kept asking me to repeat my phone number and credit card number because there were several people in the room, then she repeated my credit card number, expiration, etc. back to me. I told her I did not appreciate her doing that in a room filled with people, her reply was, "I do not think we have any appointments available for you!" A few minutes later another lady (massage therapist) called to confirm my appointment, I explained what happened and told her I would never visit an establishment that treated their customers like that.

Tucked up against the rising, snow covered peaks near the center of town at high end of 6th Street; you will find well hidden Wiesbaden Hot Springs Spa. Unlike the public springs on 550 this facility is private and has been family owned for decades. The "vapor cave" is remarkable and the hot pools are wonderful. You can rent a totally private outdoor pool by the hour and you can even spend the evening in one of several private rental rooms. Highly suggested for couples and families!

The Wiesbaden spa and vapor caves have long been a favorite place of mine. I hadn't been for years, and it was good to see it unchanged. The caves and small pool are much more to our liking than the big public pool full of kids. It was quiet, uncrowded, and extremely relaxing. I have had massages there, but only many years ago, so don't know how current staff is. I love the massage rooms, though. They are basically part of the cave system. If you need stainless steel equipment and brand new shiny everything, this might not be the place for you, but its authenticity is what I love about it. The staff was awesome, too!

Do they have camping sites and can you just go to the hot springs? How much are the hot springs?
Hi,so are there rooms or cabins available on site or nearby?

I have a 9yr old and 13yr old. It says ok for kids over 5, however I seen a few of the reviews stating not for kids. Is it a suitable place for kids?

Yes, kids are fine there. We had two 11-yo and a 13 yo with us. As long as they respect the quiet and are ready for some heat -- all is great! The wonder of it and exploratory feelings were fantastic and the people who work there are super nice and welcoming. When our kids got hot in the cave, they went to the outdoor pool and played subdued games, lounged in the sun. I would say with kids, probably 2 hour max. Enjoy!
Could you be more specific about your smoking policy? Smoking what? What about vapor devices? Thanks.

There is absolutely no smoking when we went. Didn't see any vape either for the same reason -- the pool leaches things from your body and they don't want the pools contaminated.
Curious as to the cost of enjoying this nook of paradise.

It was $15 per person to soak and use the vapor pools. It has been years since I spent the night there, so I don't know lodging rates. I like the Wiesbaden because it is less crowded than other nearby pools and there are seldom small children around.
