Unique UTV experience. It was amazing getting so close up to the Bison. The guide was very informative about the history of Bison and their behavior. The views were nice - able to see Steamboat ski mountain, back of sleeping giant, and Hahn's peak in a distance. An easy to moderate ride. Pricing I felt was a bit off. They charge a much higher amount per adult passenger vs kid passenger in the same UTV. Should be a set amt per ATV/UTV plus ~$65-75 for each passenger. They currently charge $165 per adult passenger rider.. I hope this gets corrected so I can return for more fun in the future. Tip - Bring a water bottle and mask/bandana to protect from dust/dirt. They provide goggles and helmets.

The staff at lucky 8 were amazing. They arranged to pick us up at our condo and they drove us back home when finished. They provided us with every warm article necessary for snowmobiling and they even gave us complimentary neck warmers. The snowmobiling tour was excellent. We were traveling with our 13 year old, 17 year old and 19 year old. We all had a blast and the tour guide even gave us time to ride in the open terrain mid-way through. This was spectacular, the views were incredible! Our tour guide and driver were also very knowledgeable about the town, local restaurants and some other helpful tips. We would highly recommend this family owned company to anyone passing through Steamboat that wants to experience a few hours of extreme fun! thanks Lucky 8

Absolutely one of the best and most memorable experiences EVER!!! We had the best day and had such an outstanding experience! Our guide, Nick, was awesome and so has so much knowledge and he shared it with all of us. Keith, our check-in/out guy was very helpful and Hunter, the man who followed the end of the line to help anyone who needed it, was so pleasant and helpful. Thanks to all of us you folks, for a most awesome ride! Oh, by the way, we got to see an Albino Bison! Yahoo!!

Unbelievable experience. The views were phenomenal, the guides tremendous and the memories everlasting! I decided to ride with a guide, Andy, and I was able to see all the views on a very comfortable snowmobile. The best part was at the end when he let me drive HIS snowmobile solo in an open field and I got to experience such a thrill! Thank you for making my first time on a snowmobile so memorable. I highly recommend this experience on a 3000 acre working bison ranch with views as far as the eye can see and even a rare white bison.

Our guide Keith was awesome and very informative! Went on a fun snowmobile tour here at Lucky 8 Ranch. Tour had great views, stopped a few times to learn about the area and take pics and check out the Bison that the ranch was raising. Got up pretty close to the great lumbering beats and it was VERY cool to see them and learn all about them. They’re somethin else. At the end of the tour we got to a big flat plateau summit area that was the size of maybe 2 football fields where he parked and hung out and let us rip around on the machines and top em out. This area had a beautiful 360 degree panoramic view. Super fun time, my friends were very impressed with my choice and have been talking about it to anyone who will listen. If you’re considering a snowmobile tour here I highly recommend it! Worth every penny. Thanks again to the staff at Luck 8 Ranch!

Lucky 8 Ranch was an amazing host to a great hunting experience. They have such a great crew of people that are happy to accommodate you and make you feel very welcome. The equipment and tools they have on the ranch are some of the best in the world. When it comes to hunting the ranch it has some amazing terrain and some incredible views. The location of the ranch is set in a beautiful area of steamboat and offers the best setting for hunting and enjoying life. If you are looking to enjoy the north western part of Colorado this is the place for you. ATV/Snowmobiling, hunting, Bison tours and views that will create memories of a lifetime! Thank you to all the staff and personal that make Lucky 8 the best place to visit in Steamboat Springs. Thanks again Lucky 8 ranch. You guys created one of the best hunting experiences of a lifetime!

Everything was spectacular with our experience with snowmobiling at Lucky 8 Ranch. The guys were incredible, from the pick up to the drop off. We used their clothes and all of their safety equipment. The instructions were thorough and the trails were awesome. We went over 20 miles and spent some time in an open field putting the pedal to the metal.. Getting so close to the bison was a huge bonus. So very cool! You have to go ride these sleds.

Our group of 12 (ages 20 to 55) took the 3 hour bison tour and loved it! All of us thought it was the highlight of our trip to Steamboat. Our guide Chris was extremely informative and answered all of our questions. You can tell he loves what he does as his enthusiasm for the bison shines through. We all loved being among and learning about the bison, they are incredible animals. The atv ride was a lot of fun for all. While you can drive slow if you want you also have the opportunity to test your skills on these extremely comfortable and shock absorbing "golf carts on steroids". The nice thing was we had a few stops and with that the opportunity to switch drivers if someone wanted the chance to try it out. You will get very dusty!! Heed the warning when they tell you not to wear clothes/shoes that you don't want to get dirty!
The scenery was gorgeous and there is plenty of opportunity to take pictures. We all thought the 3 hr tour was perfect and did not feel long at all. I highly recommend this tour!

This snowmobile excursion MUST be included in your Steamboat itinerary. The staff was amazing and we have never had so much fun as we did on the ranch. From the pick-up the last minute inclusion this made what was a bummer ski day when the mountain closed due to wind, an incredible memory. We ski each year in different places and the resorts seem to blend in our memory. This snowmobile day will not. THanks Lucky 8!

This was the most fun we've had in a very long time. Riding the ATV was exhilarating but we felt safe the entire time. The trip included the whole ranch from east to west and north to south. Our guide was very knowledgeable and professional and fun. We received an insider's view of a ranch operation in the Steamboat area and close up encounters with bison of all ages and sizes.
