About
Float tanks are like having a really large bathtub or a small swimming pool with a lid on top. They are filled with 10" of sterile, warm water and about 850 pounds of top quality, healing Epsom salts. You become very buoyant and float without even trying. The ultimate in healing, relaxation and relief from pain...both mental and physical. Give yourself a break!

This place is amazing, with very friendly and warm staff. If you feel like your body is in huge pain and your mind is unsettled, floating is your solution.

Awesome way to start 2018!

Loved the entire experience! The inversion table felt awesome on my back. Then, the float was an incredible experience! I will be back and do this on a regular basis!

Excellent Relaxation
Dec 2017 • Solo
The first think I noticed when I walked in were two large turtles in a very small aquarium. It broke me heart to see these poor things condemned to a life in hell for everyone's viewing pleasure......well almost everyone. They were paddling anxiously at the glass and seemingly crying out to be released or given a decent life. Them being held in captivity was absolutely pathetic and evil. I pray these people realize this is pure cruelty. Other than that, it was an amazing experience.

Oh wow! Ok, first of all, you are reviewing your experience at a float studio, not turtles. Second, Homie and Slice are very happy, healthy, spoiled rotten, loved and they are not large in a very small aquarium. They are 5-7 inches in diameter and they are in a 75 gallon aquarium with a built in basking platform made of beautiful natural mountain rocks for their basking area, heat lamps, UV light for their health, live crickets for their hunting and calcium pleasure, fresh vegetables, and krill treats just to name a few. They are not paddling anxiously "crying out to be released" (huge dramatic eye roll), they are paddling anxiously because they love to eat and be held and given nice head rubs and massages. It is not evil, that's ridiculous. They are excited to see me and everyone, just like my dog, cat, lizard and sugar glider that I have also rescued. I'm sure you'd rather I release them into the wild to be killed as they were bred and born in captivity. I should also release my other rescued animals to the "wild". Your "pathetic and evil" assumptions are the issue here. Wish you knew my loved turtles half as much as I do, they'd tell you that you're dead wrong. I pray you realize the error of your assumptions and cruel words, they are inaccurate at best. Glad you enjoyed your experience. Lisa, owner

Stopped the worst migraine of my life!
Oct 2017 • Solo
I am generally afraid of water, so floating in a tank of it is not my usual idea of "fun," let alone "relaxation." However, I had heard the benefits of sensory deprivation for dealing with pain, and after 13 days straight of the most awful migraine I have ever experienced, I gave it a try.

The Healing Waters Float Studio was an impressive facility, with a comfortable atmosphere, and amenities that ensured I had a worry-free experience. The dim lighting and comfortable earth tones create a relaxing ambiance from the beginning, and knowing that all I had to bring for my float was myself was incredibly helpful in my migraine-addled state of mind. Everything was so perfectly clean and neatly laid out for me, that all I felt I needed to focus on was my own relaxation.

The float experience was far more relaxing and comfortable than anything I had thought to anticipate. I achieved a greater state of relaxation than I had experienced in over 2 weeks since that migraine started, and I was so grateful for that. 24 hours later, my migraine was gone, and I was amazed.

I would go back to do this again any time, and I recommend anyone experiencing pain, or tension, to give it a try. I went in with a skeptical (but open) mind, and came back awe-struck by the effects of my visit. My pain did not diminish instantly, but my tension did. I credit Healing Waters Float Studio for living up to its name---I felt healed from my experience.

Excellent experience from the moment I walked in the door!
Nov 2017 • Solo
I recently had the opportunity to float for 60 minutes at Healing Waters. It was my first time. The staff was very accommodating, friendly and made sure they answered all of my questions before I got started. The inversion table was nice and definitely helped me quiet my mind and focus on the experience.
I didn’t know what to expect at all, but when I opened the door to the capsule, the warm air hit me and I immediately felt like I was about to enter an outer space hot tub! To be honest, the first few minutes of the float, I couldn’t stop laughing. The sensation was like nothing I’d ever experienced before! It took a little while before I could totally relax and let the healing begin. Mostly because I was having so much fun pushing myself around and imagining I was in my own personal version of the movie Solaris in an antigravity room. There is a ton of room in there!
One I was able to stop fooling/splashing around and concentrate on relaxing, I went into a deep state of meditation. It was different than sleeping. It was just… total relaxation. I was initially worried I wouldn’t enjoy it because I have tinnitus and thought that’s all I’d be able to focus on was the ringing in my ears, but I didn’t even notice it. I also loved that I was able to do some really deep stretching in there without the hindrance of trying to do it on the floor or other hard surface.
After I got out, I saw that they had thought of everything I would need: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, extra towels, ear treatments, lotion. My room was very clean and prepared. It was an enjoyable, relaxing experience from the moment I walked in the door.
Some of the health benefits I got out of it were full range of movement in my neck (which I still have to this day), relief of pain in my lower back, a general feeling of well-being and happiness (I couldn’t stop smiling the whole time after I walked out of the room and back into the lobby!), full range of motion in my ankle that I had injured the year before, my skin felt like velvet! I get lots of dry bumps all over my legs from the dry climate. They were totally gone and stayed gone! After I got home my muscles continued to relax more and more. I fell into a deep, 7-hour sleep. Days later I was still noticing that painful areas I usually had in my body were no longer bothering me.
Thank you so much Healing Waters for a wonderful, enlightening experience. I will definitely be back!

I know it has taken years to get you in here, but so glad it was worth it!! Thank you so much for providing so much information to people out there that may read this and have questions and anxieties addressed, an unbiased client review really helps small businesses and especially ones like ours that are different and even scary for some to consider. We are appreciative of the great review and feedback! See you soon! Lisa, owner

Great Experience!!
Nov 2017 • Solo
This is the first time I tried the float tank experience. I was very pleased with how things turned out. I can equate it to being able to reset your mind and bring about a more objective approach to life. I am looking forward to further experiences in the tank and Lisa is very kind and knowledgeable about the experience. The place is very clean, calming and inviting.

Healing Experience at Healing Waters
Sep 2017 • Solo
I have been meditating for several years and I entered the pod and relaxed. I have been experiencing a lot of pain in my lower back and stiffness in my pelvis and knees. I was able to work deeply energetically with this area and my right foot also which has been bothering me for awhile. I am amazed at the results and eternally grateful as I am walking in great fluid strides and taking stairs much better. I found Lisa to be extremely helpful and tuned me in to the perfect sounds for my experience with the inversion table. This place is very clean and I especially appreciated the quiet and the privacy. I feel terrific, thank you, Lisa!!

Woohoo! Thank you so much for letting us know how you did. I always tell people that I do not think there is anything out there that float therapy and sensory deprivation can't help with, the body and brain are very powerful if we just let them relax and do their job! So happy with your results and thank you for letting me know that I also did well by you, I am appreciative of the compliment and pat on the back! Lisa, owner

Great experience! I actually fell asleep on the inversion table for an HOUR and so i ended up missing out on my float by about 60 mins but it was still a very relaxing and enjoyable experience.

Awesome, glad you loved the experience, but bummed that you didn't get more time floating!! We always offer our current clients deals in your email, so make sure you get back in here and we can even come into your room after your inversion time is up and make sure you are awake to get into the tank on time, lol, just let us know, we are happy to do that.
