Came here as part of our holiday to a haven site. It was an overcast day and we were looking for something to do which would entertain our daughter for the day. It really is lovely here, a large park with lots to do. Including...More

Lovely place to look around for a couple of hours. Unlike places like The Sealife Centre (which is local to us) The Seal Sanctuary is not at all gimmicky, with fairground rides and cheesy stuff etc. It is what it is, a rescue centre, with...More

Talks very informative, great ethos behind the mission trying to rehabilitate seals back into the wild. Well laid out and staff clearly cared about the animals and what they were trying to achieve. Not a zoo, a caring sanctuary with a worthwhile cause.

Lovely relaxing place to visit although fairly small. Well worth the money if you have discount tickets, although pricey if you have to pay pay full price. It closed at 5 pm and we arrived at 15.40 to receive no discount for a shorter visit!...More

We visited here on a gloomy day with a 12 year old boy, not sure what to expect. The sanctuary is fairly small, but we had a super afternoon lasting a good 4 hours. The beauty of this place is that it is quite basic...More

This is a lovely place to visit for a few hours. The animals are clearly very happy and well cared for, a lovely setting and friendly staff. It is also great value, we prebought tickets online to visit while we waited to get the keys...More
