A very pleasant day, staff were helpful and keen to impart their knowledge on to every visitor. Didn't expect to see sea lions there as well as otters ! The setting is in a lovely location, and wondering around the place you can see how much work and effort it is to get to the stage where seals can be... More

This was my first visit to the seal sanctuary - the entrance fee was pricey, but as this supports the work of saving seals was happy to pay (I was not aware the sanctuary was owned by an entertainments company until reading reviews) The website had still not been updated (I see another reviewer from a few months prior had... What a wonderful job the staff here do and how well looked after the rescued seals are. Watch the seals get fed and visit the seal hospital to see what wok is done by the staff to help injured pups. Al in all a goo couple of hours spent and remember that your entrance fee is helping these poor creatures... More

Been to the seal sanctuary a few times over the years mainly to support the excellent work that the paid and voluntary staff carry out.Its not a massive site but the rescue and rehabilitation work is on a grand scale,I urge people to visit and enjoy a good time whilst supporting the project through your entrance fee.

This is the second time i have visited here. The first time we went with the guided tour which was fantastic, however this time we continued by ourselves and it did not disappoint. The work this sanctuary does is vital and the seals and all other animals seem very cheerful. The team here are very knowledgeable and friendly and will... More

Bought 4 children under 4 here. The oldest 2 loved unhinged around the large spaces and watching all the seals. It is very hilly which was fun with a double buggy! But you are warned of this when you arrive. Worth every penny!

We came in a wet day in March and the bus wasn't running be aware that it is very steep uneven rough terrain and so no good for wheelchairs. We loved seeing the seals and were lucky enough to see them being fed. I would imagine that in the Summer there is plenty to keep young children occupied but in... More

Had a fab time during this afternoon's visit after reading about annual locals passes on Facebook. We were asked if we wanted to have a look round whilst we were there as they could open the gate for me to bring my car in. They spotted my partner was on crutches. The girls were so thoughtful and nothing was too... More

This place is amazing. It's an opportunity to get up really close to seals, otter, penguins, walruses. The staff are really friendly and will share details about the personalities of the residents if you catch them at feeding times. The visit makes you feel good about supporting their conservation work too.
