Eldora is just 21 miles from Boulder and 45 miles from Denver. Avoid the stress of I-70's notorious congestion. Eldora is a locals-friendly mountain, relaxed and unpretentious. One of Colorado's best kept secrets for families. There's something for everyone - steeps, bumps, glades, terrain park, groomed corduroy for cruising. A Children's Center where learning to ski or snowboard is fun. 40km of x-country and snowshoe trails. Free close-in parking and RTD bus service that drops you 50ft from the lift.

Super Experience. Paid for skiing lessons, and broke off mid day, Skied where we wanted with all day pass. With rental and lessons, and all day pass about 140$. Get there by 8 am if you can. Lodges are nice and big. Pay for Wi fi. Runs for all ages.

Skied here for March Spring Break. On weekdays we would park right in front of the lodge, walk in, but our lift tickets and get on the lift with no lines within 20min. This is a really nice resort frequented mostly by locals. It's not on the itinerary of most out of state spring break skiers, so while all the... More

Keep in mind, Eldora is not your typical Ski In/Ski Out resort...It was an entirely different skiing experience for my family and we LOVED it! Since we were beginners at skiing/snow boarding, we booked private lessons, which were well worth the $$!! Our instructors were AWESOME! (Tip: When you book private lessons, you also get VIP service with your rentals!)... More

Our stay was pleasant & fun. Lot of different slopes to choose from. Friendly staff. Fair pricing comparing to other ski resorts in the surrounding areas we looked at. Restaurants are ok. Could have more food variety, but was gokd. Will go again maybe earlier in the year, like February. Not so much snow begging of March. Had so much... More

We used to ski Breckenridge, Snow Mountain Ranch and Frisco because of the spotty trail grooming at Eldora, but no more. Eldora has really stepped up their service, attitude and trail grooming in the last few years. Eldora now does daily grooming of the entire area (for skating and classic), covers up thin spots and moves snow so that this... More

We are from Michigan where the downhill skiing is usually both cold and icy! And you always beat your chairlift seat down the hill! We were quite happy with our Eldora experience, the place is family friendly and the staff was in good spirits. Of course the snow could have been a bit better but they had it groomed to... More

We choose this place to be our local until we push our skills forward, took Cross Country lesson group and it great! Got a workout and loved it so much we bought our own equipment. Now we bring lunch and snacks and make it a economical day in mountains.

I am from the east coast and have been skiing since I was three. That being said, I've never skied anywhere nicer than Vermont and was a little intimidated by skiing in the Rocky Mountains. Luckily I found this great ski slope! I went on a week day and it felt like a private mountain. There was barely anyone there... More

This place exceeded my expectations. There are so many great slopes! We spent a couple of days skiing and never got bored. I recommend you skip the big ski resorts, save a couple hundred dollars, and go check out Eldora!
