If you park below, it's quite a steep walk up to the Amphitheatre and then you have to walk to your seat!

Questions & AnswersAsk a question
we are coming to visit Denver on May 19-21... wanting to see the red rocks amphitheater before we fly home on the 21st ( we have an 8 pm flight).. there is a show that evening that starts at 5:30 pm... would we still be able to visit the amphitheater before the show begins? What time will they close it for a show that starts that early? We are staying in Colorado Springs the night before and I think driving time is about 1.5 hours.. just wondering what time we should plan to be there to look around the amphitheater, etc.. and how much time to allow for the visit, and of course what time they will close it all before the 5:30 pm show that night. Thank you in advance for your help:) Maria

You might want to call the Amphitheatre to get the times they are open. Personally, I would go early in the day and take your time looking at the area. There is a lot to see.
Hello! We would really like to see the Red Rocks Amphitheater, when we visit Denver soon. However, we won't have a car. Would you please have a suggestion on how we could travel from Denver city to the Amphitheater, and return to Denver?? Thank you in advance! Thank you in advance!

Children under 2 years of age are no charge, but must sit on the lap of their parents. Hope this helps.
