- Cassie MLittleton, Colorado106 contributionsFun For AllEver since visiting the Penny Arcades with summer camp, this has been a spot I HAVE to go to whenever I go to Manitou Springs. I love the mix of old and new (skee ball machines with a crank you have to pull to get the balls!) You also still get actual tickets from games and can get prizes. This is perfect for competitive couples or families looking for a fun time. The games are not as expensive as other arcades. It is one of my favorite places to visit in Manitou Springs.Visited May 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten November 5, 2023
- Choie82Houston, Texas224 contributionsSo cool!We all loved this attraction! We have a 7 and 10 year old and there was something for everyone! An entire block(s) of games, rides, old vending machines that work! Wild! It used to be a penny arcade but not any more- bring lots of quarters! If you want to take a look at some of the older things, need nickels. There are lots of restaurants and concessions around. Enjoy !Visited October 2023Traveled with familyWritten November 20, 2023
- Bubba-McDubbaOklahoma City, Oklahoma50 contributionsBest Arcade experience in awhile! This place was great! There was lots of variety in machines. The moving, riding machines (not sure what they are called) are outside. There were four different buildings, and three different penny smasher machines throughout. Some of the games gave tickets that could be traded in and others didn't. There were even some old penny arcade machines. BUT the only downside is there are 2 rooms that shut down if its too cold. I can't remember if it was 40 or 50 degrees min. But all employees were very nice and helpful. Will definitely visit the next time we go back. You do have to pay for parking at the meters around $5 / two hour time slot. It was awesome to see some of the old machines in working order and not just "on display" where no one can touch them.Visited January 2024Traveled with familyWritten January 21, 2024

Many many old coin operated rides, arcade games, pinball games and the like. Fairly inexpensive fun and lots of opportunities to show younger generations what fun looked like without a smartphone or nintendo.Visited March 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten March 11, 2024
- Michelle SIllinois195 contributionsFun for all agesThis place is amazing. There were about 5-6 different building with every type of old game you can think of. It was fun for little kids, teenagers, and even as adults. There is machines that will break your dollars into quarters. Most of the games took between one to 4 quarters. We spent several hours here. There was no air conditioning so on a hot day it was warm in there. They were open during the summer 10am to 10pmVisited July 2024Traveled with familyWritten August 4, 2024
- JenniferZanesville, Ohio13 contributionsFun time for four adults. Step back in time.We didn’t know about this place until our pikes cog railway guide mentioned it. It was sooo fun for us four adults. It was like a step back in time. The only reason we gave four stars was because some of the games didn’t give tickets and the prizes for the ticket exchange were lame.Visited September 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten August 31, 2024

"Arcade amusements, sounds good doesn't it? It was a lot of fun on a chilly day until the stroller bouncers came in and ran us out. it was very cold and windy. Bringing the baby into the building to thaw out a little bit, seemed like a reasonable thing to do. Yes, I know there are signs on all the doors emphasizing no strollers. Yes, Bouncer Boy, I can read. And Yes, Bouncer Girl I know that people need access to play the games, if someone would have asked to play the game where the stroller was parked, I would have moved it. And yes I know that strollers block isles and they can be a safety issue. Let me suggest removing some of your least played games and allowing room for strollers. There are a lot of Moms that would love to bring their children to play in the arcade, trouble is, not only do they have an eight year old, they may also have a baby in a stroller. So do yourself a favor and maybe earn a few more quarters. Think about mothers with children and their babies in strollers. After the Stroller Bouncers addressed the stroller issue in the building where we were playing the building basically cleared out. (We were a very large group.) Does that seem like good business?

Inexpensive little break for the younger children. There are games suitable for all age ranges and the older child enjoyed the opportunity to win reward tickets. We will likely go back as a treat for the children when in the area. Wear a mask and bring hand sanitizer...

This place was more than we ever imagined! There were so many games inside & outside (but covered)! Most games were a quarter it seemed which seemed very reasonable. Our family (2 adults, 3 teenagers and a 9 year old) went here on a rainy night in Manitou Springs. My husband & I were transported back to our childhood. We loved it so much we came back again the next day!

We were told this was a must see! Apparently it used to be a penny arcade, but now each game is a quarter, some are more. We weren’t too impressed with it. It was very crowded and the games were shoved so close together it was hard to walk in between. It was worth seeing, but we didn’t spend much time there at all.

We LOVE this arcade. So much fun. I enjoy photography and the subjects here are magical. I remember this place from my childhood. I have been here before with my family. My husband and 2 young adult sons had a blast here. (We also enjoyed shopping and eating in Manitou Springs this visit.) My husband and I are in our early 50s and have vivid memories of when many of the antique videogames were new. Some of the items are really old. We played video games, pool, skee-ball. The weather was perfect and we had so much fun the first day we decided to spend the better part of another day of our short vacation there. I am always excited to return to this place and always so happy that it is still there.

The good news is this place had hundreds of games, spread through a half dozen buildings. Most games were reasonably priced.
The bad news is there is a LOT of wear and tear on most of them, there is barely any room to walk around from game to game and even a small crowd causes a total logjam.
Its also very annoyingly loud in all of them (as you can imagine with a ton of these games crammed into small rooms).
Kids mostly had fun, but were very overwhelmed.

The arcade has limitless games which our kids (ages 6-12) loved. The staff was particularly friendly and helpful if we needed to make change or if we had a problem with a game. Our kids enjoyed pooling together the tickets they won to buy a prize.

Games range from 1 cent to $2.00. There is so much to do and play that it’s hard to do in one day. This arcade is one of the few left in the country that doesn’t run on tokens or game cards. The redemption games actually award you with real tickets, so it has that authentic arcade feel that is hard to find. That being said, I don’t think you’ll find better prizes offered at very very fair ticket prices. Nothing like place anywhere!
