"I must confess that the very happiest moments of my life have been spent in the wilderness of the Far West" to quote George Frederick Ruxton. The late winter weather was springlike gorgeous so we barely dabbled in "shopping" but was delighted to go beyond...More

Ruxton's Trading Post was our favorite part about Manitou Springs. The shop was a treasure trove of antiques, beautiful animal skins, and Native American craftsmanship. Mike was so helpful in showing us around the shop and giving us history of the pieces we were interested...More

Dear Justine, Thank you for your business. We had a lot of fun too. Please tell your friends about our cowhide rugs. And hurry back soon. Sincerely, Mike Graham

I only visited this shop briefly but it was great to see real western hats and to try one on. If I ever get back I I’ll definitely leave enough room in my suitcase to fit one in. I was greeted warmly, met the dog,...More

This is an awesome store. Has a great variety of antiques and vintage items that you have probably never seen before. Many western/cowboy antiques in stock. Had an incredible antique cash register from early 1900's that still works. They just don't make things with that...More

It is not just another souvenir shop. You walk around and say to yourself "where did this come from" ? Mostly everything in the shop has a unique feature of a frontier antique . Cowboy and Indian art but not from China ! Curious collectibles...More

Gretchen and Mike Graham are interesting, friendly owners and as fun as all the collectibles, western wear, decorations, art and novelties in their store. They seem genuinely interested in people and prices are very reasonable. Don't miss this shop near the intersection of Ruxton and...More

Thank you for your nice review. You give some very good advice about riding the free shuttle bus from the free parking lot at Hiawatha Gardens which is located at 10 Old Mans Trail in Manitou Springs. It is the hassle free way to park.

Fun shop filled with something for everybody! Bought a coon skin cap for my grandson! Real old/antique items - not just tourist trade stuff. Could have spent a lot more time there.

Real, old timey feel to this eclectic trading post, a must stop for the tourist in Manitou Springs. Open every day but Weds. which, I think, is kind of an unusual day to be closed but it's an unusual store so that works!More
