The lantern tour was such an awesome experience. Gale was our tour guide and she really made it comical, spooky, and historical. Definitely something you should do if you’re near the area. -Told you I was going to write you a five star review, Gale!!

Our tour guide Tim ruined our experience. Do not waste your money on the Latern Ghost tour. My partner and I feel like we just wasted $68. He opened up with a fat joke about women, then, throughout the tour, our guide made a series of poor jokes belittling woman and used crude sexual humor. We are all adults, but I felt like it was a 15 yo boy guiding me with the way his jokes were landing. Saying things like "all you need is the tip, right ladies?" No one was laughing. You could feel the discomfort. It made me wildly uncomfortable and ruined my whole experience. I'm not a "Karen" (as Tim would repeat over and over again.). I work in the hospitality industry and have a giant background in Tourism. I know what makes a good tour guide/tour. I have tipped and taken care of every guide I've ever had. I wouldn't give him a penny. Ultimately, I felt like I paid to listen to a 35 yo man act incredibly misogynistic. This is not the place. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. READ THE RECENT REVIEWS.

We were curious as to what this place was all about, and so we decided to make the drive up the winding mountain side. We were not disappointed. There are a variety of rides and activities for people of all ages and thrill levels. We took a ride on the zipline (Angel E was working the zipline and she was awesome) and then my boyfriend rode the Terror Dactyl. Pretty fun and the video we bought afterward was funny!!!! Highly recommend!

Hopefully the full tour will return in the future, but even the COVID safe tour was fun and interesting. Definitely going to bring the older grankids down to enjoy the zip line and additional activities soon. Use their website directions as GPS can send you somewhere different. Enjoyable day, wear your walking shoes, cute gift shop and even a decent snack bar. Absolutely amazing views of the area.

I’ve been in cave tours before but our guide “Dustin” made the difference with a wealth of knowledge he was able to share. Even when he didn’t have a scientific correct answer to give to a question he did attempt with a logical answer instead of just saying I don’t know. I was not expecting to be wowed over a cave tour, but I have to admit I was well pleased for the amount of money I spent for such a great experience. Can’t wait to bring my children to this attraction in the years to come. Next time I’d love to do the “Caving 101” tour where you get to crawl through caves and see more of the beauty and majestic view of these caves.
