Beautiful restored farm. Plaques with info about the history. I think it would be a great visit for kids.

Did not disappoint. Staff time and effort obvious, Special thank you to whoever did the large green/blue tree. Details fantastic. This tree is worth the trip by itself. Hot chocolate and fire pit great too.

I was here earlier in the summer for an event held over the 4th of July weekend. There is plenty of parking here, so it can easily accommodate small to medium-sized events and festivals. The gardens were very nice during the summer season, there are also nature walking trails on the property as well, in addition to a small number... More

We visited the Chatfield location for one purpose: The Corn Maze! The corn was an impressive 10 feet tall, which we haven't seen since living in Indiana. We had perfect weatherh, & the various farm-oriented displays nearly made us homesick! 😊 The Corn Maze took us about 35 minutes to complete, & it was fun. This year, the theme was... More

A very large expanse of land around the original farm house and barns with animals. There's a innovative lavender garden interspersed with gorgeous perennials, a butterfly pavilion (Spring through Fall), corn field and pumpkin patch, special events, and lovely areas for weddings and other celebrations. It's wonderful to spend time there with the whole family, but I also love to... More

There are some interesting plants here, with good explanations of how they were used on the original farm. But it is a pretty small park overall. Not a destination place (except they were having a harvest festival with some mediocre food booths and hay wagon rides), but there is only a per car fee of $5 to enter the gardens... More

Apparently, they have recently changed the name to the "Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield Farms." This, now, more closely reflects the fact that in addition to its gardens, there are some "remains" of a previous farm community. With regard to the latter, there are a number of significant things to see: the Deer Creek Schoolhouse (1874), the Green Farm Barn (circa... More

We didn't expect much at this place and got a pleasant surprise when we arrived. It is a large venue with ample parking. The fall events are very well organized with good signage. We opted to do just the corn maze, which was well organized and had good directions. They have some items to find which make it fun for... More

Went to this place to get some walking in and look at some flowers and nature that are grown in the area. It was okay.
