Lots to see and explore

Great place to explore. The old farm house and buildings are great to explore. Lots of trails to walk and grassy and tree covered areas to explore.

We have participated in this annual event over the years and enjoyed every time. It is pretty and fun to go for the walk. Prepare for cold weather and enjoy hot chocolate or coffee at the snack bar.

Our family (with three children) went to Trail of Lights on an evening shortly after Christmas. When we paid for our tickets, we asked for a map, but were instructed that there was no map and the trails were well-marked as a short, 15 minute walk and a one hour walk. We wandered through the area on trails, then found... More

If you want to see spectacular Christmas lights go to the Botanic Gardens in Denver. This is one a little underwhelming after you have been to the other gardens. But it does have kid specific lights and the tall blue and green tree near the beginning is spectacular. It would be nice to see more like this.

We've visited the Trail of Lights annually for the past 3-4 years. It is one of the best light displays on the south/west part of town. Denver Botanic Garden's Blossoms of Lights and Zoo Lights are great...but they are not "nearby"...so this is a good place on this side of the Metro area. They keep adding to the displays making... I have gone previously to Hudson Gardens which is also very well done, the lights are better at The Trail of Lights, Chatfield but they are missing one very vital component ~ Holiday Music!! Hudson Gardens has Holiday Music throughout and it creates such a fun ambiance and my 3 yr old Grandson loves music so I will take him... More

Did not disappoint. Staff time and effort obvious, Special thank you to whoever did the large green/blue tree. Details fantastic. This tree is worth the trip by itself. Hot chocolate and fire pit great too.

Beautiful restored farm. Plaques with info about the history. I think it would be a great visit for kids.

I was here earlier in the summer for an event held over the 4th of July weekend. There is plenty of parking here, so it can easily accommodate small to medium-sized events and festivals. The gardens were very nice during the summer season, there are also nature walking trails on the property as well, in addition to a small number... More
