A must visit.

A historic place.

Old western motif, and the history is amazing.
Take time and look at all the walls.

We sat in front of “Doc Holiday’s” piano and Molly brown wall.

Kevin, thank you for the great conversation and menu options.

The Putin was good, different but good, came topped with a fried egg.

The lamb sandwich was very good and the au jus was wonderful.

The WINGS OMG we reordered these, amazing flavor.

The Salmon roll was delicious.

The onion rings were awesome, 2 baskets please.

Had a good beer selection.

Make room for dessert.
Today they had Apricot ice cream, lemonade cake, salted caramel cake, chocolate something and something else.
We did not care after lemonade cake.

The apricot ice cream came topped with fresh fruit, wonderful.
The Salted caramel also came with fruit delicious as well.
But YOU MUST order the lemonade cake. Strong lemon key lime flavor, OMG not so sweet but very refreshing.

Kevin once again thank you for your time and service,

Cool historical place - lots of photos and charm to accompany a really good meal
Jun 2021
It was very cool to visit a place that is part of America's history. The food was great (pulled pork sandwich and brisket sandwich which was daily special). BBQ sauce is very tasty. Onion rings quite good - I prefer less breading but my husband loved them. Definitely recommend eating there if you are in Leadville. The booth we sat in came from a train that brought the supplies build the bar.

Cool old bar but

Worth a stop. Lots of history. Didn’t eat but they have canned and bottled beer. Bartender was NOT wearing a mask in this Covid era. Disappointing. Server was very nice!

So much history, so many things to look at around the pub. Staff are wonderful, friendly and chatty. Great selection on food and drinks menu. Highly recommend the Ruben Sandwich, best I've had.

Proper look back in history

If you are ever in Colorado and up in the Rockies take a detour to Leadville, superb little town with a great bar called The Silver Dollar Saloon, spend a day in the footsteps of historical wild west figures.

Historic Mining Town old saloon with historical features

The white oak back bar, windbreak, swinging doors, the mahogany front bar, and the 3/4 inch diamond dust mirrors came from the Brunswick Company in St Louis Missouri. Margeret "Molly" Brown, known as "The Unsinkable Molly Brown" moved to Leadville when she was 18. Oscar Wilde appeared at the Tabor Opera House during his 1882 American Aesthetic Movement lecture tour. Doc Holiday lived in Leadville

Very average weird vibe
Aug 2018 • Couples
I felt this place was very average in food and was kind of hard to find something I liked. I even had to get my own silverware to be served with. Short staffed during a lunch burst. Weird vibes, maybe it was the energy since it was a much older place. Would not be eating here again.

Cool place, but be careful
Nov 2017 • Solo
I would have written an excellent review, except the bartender charged drinks she had to my bill, which I was not impressed with at all; very uncool move. Other than that, the place is classic. In five years in Colorado, it is maybe the coolest Saloon I have visited. It is full of history with lots of memorabilia. The last place Doc Hollywood was in a gun fight, historical photos all over, decent grub, drinks and a fun way to pass the hours on any given afternoon.

Average Food...Not the Atmosphere I expected
May 2015 • Family
The food was okay, but I really expected better from the atmosphere. I expected it to provide a lot more history and be in a bit better shape.
