We were visiting family in Colorado and skiing, wanted to add on a unique outdoor adventure - Alpine Adventures was a perfect fit! Bekah was our guide and made it a forever family memory. She is passionate about the dogs and introduced us to each dog before we got on the sleds. She explained the different roles the dogs play on the team and shared the personality of each dog. She clearly loves what she does! After a brief overview, we went on a 5 mile loop through a valley between 2 mountains. We stopped several times so everyone in the party had a chance to drive the tag sled - even my elementary age kids! As my guide explained, these are Alaskan huskies so they don’t look like the Disney movie Siberian huskies. The Siberian huskies would get too hot in Colorado weather and are slower than the Alaskan huskies. Also the dogs were so friendly and well behaved!! We were able to walk around the kennel and meet other dogs after our tour. The staff was so friendly. What a memorable morning!

Pretty simple, called to reserve a spot at 10:47 AM, something came up so I called back at 11:40 AM and got hit with a booking fee. Was not made aware of fee, only that I had to cancel 72 hours prior. I literally canceled less than an hour later. They made $32 off of me.

I had booked 2 adult tickets and 2 children tickets. They charged my card right away for the cost of the tickets + Taxes, Surcharges, and Fees. That was totally fine. I called a week before my reservation (168 hours before our scheduled date) to cancel. They only refunded me the cost of the tickets. Taxes, Surcharges, and Fees which was a total of $40.80 was not returned. When I called to let them know they forgot to refunded me completely, I was told this was a "booking fee" and that I would not get that back. There is NO mention on the email confirmation or anywhere on their site about this "booking fee". I let the girl on the phone know there is no mention, and all she could do was say "Sorry, its a booking fee". So be aware, if you happen to cancel during the appropriate time frame to receive your refund, you may only get the ticket cost back less the "Taxes, Surcharges, and Fees" as they consider this a booking fee.

My experience with this company has been terrible to say the least. When we first arrived, we thought we were in the wrong place because there was just a giant open field. The rides were slow and boring, without any turns, just going in a big field. The dogs were chained up to poles, with plastic barrels to sleep in which had no insulation, and bloody food and feces was spread all around the snow under them. Some of the dogs were just running in circles around the poles they were chained to. I would highly advise going somewhere else, there are much better options than this place.

Our family of 5 split up into two groups for the tag sled experience! It was amazing! We loved getting to drive our own sled and help with braking, shifting our weight, etc. the view was spectacular, and everyone on staff was wonderful. We got to meet all of the dogs which were husky mixes. It was so fun to meet the dogs and see all of the different personalities. While we weren’t driving, we were cuddled up in the sled, which was so comfortable and cozy. Thank you for the amazing experience!
