"Self-braking" is not required; our "catch brakes" will bring you to a safe and comfortable landing. Our PRIVATE 2500 acre property high on the Continental Divide has 40 old gold mining claims, pine and aspen forests, vast canyons and bubbling streams. Ride a 6-1/2 ton Monster Truck up to the first zip line deck at 11,200 feet, then experience SIX separate zip lines with long lines up to 850 feet. All zip decks are flat on the ground for easy access. Zip line areas are connected by scenic, easy walking, down-hill trails. Fly side-by-side on four twin lines and 1 single, then soar side-by-side-by-side from the rocky cliffs on the BIG NUGGET ZIP, a Triple Header. Aspen is approx. 1 hour away over Independence Pass in summer months. It's always cool and comfortable year round in this high alpine area. Ask about our Rails & Zip line Combo with lunch. We are the only zip line company in the world to fly over a moving train. Winter Snow Zipping tours include a snow cat/zip line tour or snowmobile/zip lining combos.

Zip lining has been one of those “maybe bucket list ideas” if all the stars align just right and at “Top of the Rockies” they made it so. Loved every second. The guys were so professional, skilled and comfortable with making me and my friend feel safe and also made us laugh with their humor and interested us with their knowledge of the area’s mining history. They take safety seriously but we also had so much fun. I can’t say enough good things! Thanks Shoney, Leland and Ewan! Y’all are wonderful!

My husband was very excited because we heard you zipline over the train and it looked very high into the mountains. Of course he met very nice people and the staff were great! It was unfortunate that there were so many in his group, that made the waiting gruesome and that's where the 2 hours comes in. We were hard pressed to get there on time but shouldn't have worried because of the amount of people in one group. He's had better zip lines but this will be great if it's your first time. The zips aren't long, there are 6. It rained the whole time but the group seemed to enjoy it anyway! They offer photos (delivered right to your phone) for different prices, depending on how many were in your party. They also encourage tipping!

Labor Day Weekend, but with reservations the whole process was very smooth. I am a first timer for a zipline so I was very nervous. Staff immediately recognized it and made me feel very comfortable. Took a fun ride up to the top for the first zipline, Mario was funny and informative along the ride. Each leg of the zipline was beautiful, something different to see each time. Guides were all funny and made conversation, but definitely kept our safety in mind at the same time. These guys seem to really love their jobs, and who can blame them? Harnesses made me feel very safe, and automatic brakes were great, made it less scary to me. They had funny things to see along the way, gnomes, snakes, etc - and the photographer took amazing photos! I don't know where she hides or if she hangs in trees but she got great shots of us all - our photo package was $45 and worth every penny! I cannot wait to go back, I want to do ti again! I would also like to thank Bev for her recommendation to eat afterwards at Casa Blanca - we loved it!

Fun but the customer service was absolutely terrible. 1 person out of a group of 8 didn’t go because they woke up sick the morning of and they wouldn’t give any money back for that one person. Like do they won’t them to show up sick around everyone? Absolutely ridiculous and shows how greedy they are with money. So I do not recommend specifically because of how money greedy they are, like clearly you can’t control getting sick but they just want the money. That’s all.

We do have a 48-hour cancellation policy but we are very flexible and understanding and always try to work with anyone who has a problem. On that day we were totally sold out and were turning people away, explaining we were full. If the customer had called even that morning to say someone was not coming, we would have been able to book another person and we would have refunded the money. The Base Camp team did not know until the check-in that one person was missing when they asked for a refund. I explained our policy to the caller asking for a refund and even offered to let the missing person go another day with a discount so a companion could accompany him. Our Team showed the group a "great time", "Fun but". The person complaining hung up and posted this unfair one star review.

Top of the Rockies ziplining was one of the highlights of our family vacation. Of the three generations of our family going (ages 20-67), I was the most hesitant. Not because I didn't want to go, but because I wasn't sure I could. The staff took those feelings into account and quickly made me feel completely at ease. As others have said, the staff is absolutely amazing. They make the whole experience even more fun than it would be, but are always on top of their game making sure everyone is safe. The views are stunning. Can't say enough good things about this experience. The excited looks on all my families' faces after the first line was the best I've seen in a long time. We'd all love to go back and do it again!

Collectively in our group, we have ziplined at least 10 different places in the USA. This was by far the most unique experience! I don't want to spoil all the different experiences during the 6 lines for those that haven't been there yet, so all I will say is Top of the Rockies is the BEST zipline experience and it will be hard to top! We were blessed with a tiny group, so we had a very personalized experience. Given the current COVID situation, do not hesitate to go! When not able to social distance, guides wore masks and we had hand sanitizer available at check in and check out.

We had an AMAZING time here! We've traveled quite a bit but I can truly say that this experience was one of the best our family has had. Our group included two adults and two kids (ages 9 and 11). The tour was breathtaking and the guides were super funny and professional. Can't say enough about this experience. The ziplines were amazing, beautiful views. Friendly, professional staff. Smooth check in process...from start to finish an awesome time. Arrive about 10 minutes early so that you can feed the fish in the pond :)
The course took about two hours, never too much waiting. We paid for the photo package at the end....WELL WORTH IT! Definitely don't hesitate to book!

Just 10 minutes from Leadville. Check in is easy, donning equipment is efficient and virus safe. The guides are knowledgeable, entertaining, and attentive to safety.
We had 16 people in our group (they have 30+ in high season) & finished in an hour and a half. Landing on platforms is extremely safe and soft (being 67, I was sort of concerned about this).
I only wish the great experience lasted longer, as it is a bit expensive.

We had a wonderful time zip lining. The views were
INCREDIBLE! The guides were patient and encouraging - all ages in our group (10-58 years old) felt safe and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The professional photos were spot on and captured everyone in our group. I researched so many different zip lining tours - so glad I picked this one.! Thumbs up!!

This was a great experience. You really don’t have to be too physically fit or knowledgeable to do this. They explain all of the safety features and get you all suited up. They drive you up the mountain and you zip line down. There is some very light walking from line to line and the ground is often uneven but as long as you don’t have any serious mobility issues it was a piece of cake. Also the scenery is absolutely beautiful along the way. I highly recommend this experience!
