It's very clean and beautiful, with much to do. The number one drawback is the $10 entry fee. I'd suggest spending the money on a state park pass and going to Chatfield or Roxboro

This is a very good place to take out your paddleboard and cruise around on the lake with no motor boats to contend with. On a reasonably cool or overcast day it's perfect to be out on the water. It's relatively isolated from roads and highways, but right in town. You can also take your mountain bike on a great... More

We returned after trying other places near and North of Denver. We vacation in Colorado at least once per year. We came hear two years ago and had been to others in the area, but we liked this best.

This is such a great local spot. There are so many activities for the whole family. It is also a great place to jog or ride bikes. It is my favorite trail for a daily walk or run!

After seeing crazy pricing in the mountains for water sports we found this little gem which is an amazing city park. Nice patrons, friendly staff, and tons of activities to choose from. We spent two days here, much to our surprise!!

We just love coming here to camp and enjoy the beach. The campground is clean and quiet. The beach is relaxing and kept very clean.

Please know that there is a fee to enter this park, I believe you have to pay it even if you have a State park pass... Great beach area and just a short walk away you can rent paddleboards and other non-motorized equipment. Very fun! There is not much shade so remember to bring your canopy if you have one!

Camped here for two nights in our van and it was nice. A bit of a long drive in from the road to the campground. The late night entrance is quite close and we used that once. Booked this on line and our reservation was ready for us when we arrived. Comfort stations were good and clean. Coin op showers... More
